We start right out of the gate with Mando collecting a Bounty, and I don’t think he’s doing it for money. I think he’s doing it for information.
Obviously information on where the armorer is. So Mando pulls up, does the whole I can bring you in warm or I can bring you in cold thing which was epic to hear, and he takes them out not with his blasters but with the freaking dark sober. So he still has it and didn’t give it up to Bo Katan. I wonder how she left him, because obviously she wanted it and was ready to fight him for it by trial by combat.
Mando fights them but not very well. It’s obvious he doesn’t know how to use the dark saber mainly due to its weight. The sober is an ancient weapon, not like a typical lightsaber. It obviously holds different properties that regular lightsabers don’t possess, perhaps the crystal has dark matter like a viewer mentioned during the watch party, perhaps it requires one to learn how to use it by becoming one with the blade, either way, we know he has trouble using the blade, and I think he’s going to get help from Luke Skywalker in the next episode on how to fight with a lightsaber. A scene, I think we all want to see.
Din takes them out, and he leaves with the head of his bounty. Might I add, this scene was super dark and gruesome, I was surprised it was allowed with Disney and all. I was happy to see some realism with a lightsaber once again. The ring is like the ring from the old republic near Telos. Also it’s like Halo.
Din delivers his bounty and is told the location of the armorer, where we see her in a meditative position. She’s probably the most stoic mandalorian I’ve ever seen.
He gets patched up by Paz Viszla, this is the mandalorian who helped him in season 1 on nevarro. He is a descendant of house Vizsla.
Din shows the dark sober to them ,and the armorer asks to examine it. Giving us a ton of explanations on mandalorian culture and mandalore. We learn the hilt is of a higher grade of beskar which makes me wonder if there are different grades of Beskar, are some better than others? She tells him that the ruler of this blade rules all of Mandalore, nothing new there, but then she explains a character that is so important to mandalorian lore and that’s Tarre Vizsla. He was a mandalorian Jedi and the first to wield this blade 1000 years ago. She also mentions how if one comes to possess this blade without a proper trial by combat, then a curse will be set upon mandalore and its people.
The armorer acknowledges that the Mandalorian has completed his quest of reuniting grogu with his kind and the Jedi, and so she allows him to join her enclave.
We learn Moff Gideon wasn’t killed, but he was sent to the new republic to face trial. His story isn’t done yet, so we’ll probably see him again in mandalorian season 3.
The Armorer tells of the mandalorian who rides the mythosaur who will rise to lead the mandalorians from the songs of eons past. Now in the Christmas special, Boba rode a mythosdaur and this is what he alluded to in Boba Fett episode 3 when he tells the rancor keeper he’s ridden much bigger. Boba also has a mythosaur on his armor so could this mean that Boba will rise to run all mandalorians like his father once did and Jaster Mereel before him?

This was such a great episode. The callbacks to the PT and OT really created such a linear feeling with the story of Star Wars as a whole. I loved seeing Mandalore and seeing Din's struggle with the dark saber. I wonder if it has different properties entirely from a regular lightsaber. I hope Luke will teach him how to properly duel in episode 6!
While there was no Boba in this, I hope they start to make Boba more like Din in the coming episodes and maybe seasons.
What did you think of the ep?!
I’ve uploaded a Boba Fett Episode 6 Review & it would be cool if other huge Star Wars fans could give their opinion on the episode and tell me why they agree or disagree with my opinion on the series so far. Would be great to discuss the series & hear different opinions! 💯 Thanks for your time if you choose to do so! 👊🏽
@swedishpsycho1 you're just now realizing that after what 15 seasons of the f****** Kardashian's? This country is stuck on glam. And yes I'm salty about it period inside sweaty if you will
No. Simple answer no. Now go to the corner.
@Greg J that all depends on what shape the satellite dish is. If it's round then it's ABY if it is rectangular then it is after the battle of Endor. That will be a good marker for a date to correspond.
I think Star Wars should stay doing series for now, it makes the universe grow, and you can tell they're having fun making them, with so many nostalgic things mixed with new things is beautiful 😍
As long as they do it right like this episode which is essentially Mandolarian. The previously episodes were utter cringe and horribly written. We didn't need a series based around Boba Fett anyway. Cad Bane would have been far more interesting.

Movies in te correct hands can be as good as a show, Rogue One is the proof.
@Lucas Geyer No? Why make movies if shows cost less? I mean there is a reason for more shows planned than movies
@Lucas Geyer Movies are more expensive and they get released on disney+ aswell
This is something I hope happens , if it’s back to boba in one of the next episodes it could have a flashback starting the episode off with Boba Fett in his bounty hunting days with the other bounty hunters with him and there’s him and bossk working together and then bossk and some other bounty hunters show up later. But it seems super unlikely since they are most likely done with the flashbacks but a fan can dream , let me know what u think bout this theory.
@GMB DirtyD I feel these trandoshans look goofy and campy and cartoonish compared to Bossk from the OT. Anyone else notice this?
@thelonelypanda all the trandoshans they show in the background might be a hint towards a bossk appearance. And the next episode is directed by Filoni. So I have a good feeling
@thelonelypanda well yeah
What theory? This is what you want to happen in the show...
That's not really a theory. There's not a bit of evidence to support this might happen. This is just what you hope will happen
This episode was everything we all wanted. We got more in depth lore into the Star Wars universe, we got to see Mando, we got some good action, we got cool ships and awesome sound effects, and implications into the greater Star Wars story as a whole. So happy with this, and I hope they do more things like this in the future
It was an amazing episode !! Loved it !!!
@CynicalString56 Haha yup. It was so good though I didnt even really care lol
This was essentially an episode of The Mandelorian
This episode is the standard; tons of call backs and Easter eggs, well written , well acted. Howard should get an entire show to do bc her episodes are amazing !!!!
@janirobe She got the actors to give good performances.
Jon favreau writes the episodes. All the Easter eggs were Jon.
I’m wondering if he’ll run into Sabine and that’s who will train him how to use the Dark Saber. Not Luke.
I just want to see Thrawn in live action. i don't care about anything else. It was nice to see Luke again though.
@Matthew Gibson yeah that would be awesome!
@Matthew Gibson well, not all have patient to see cartoons
sabine is with ahsoka looking for thrawn, grogu is with luke. I think he'll go to luke
@Matthew Gibson Ezra is more than likely working for Thrawn now as his force ally
When he was given the Naboo Starfighter, I almost thought it was Grievous's bomber before the reveal. Then podracer and Y-wing for a split second when she removed the covers.

Same, us SW fans must think the same 😂
SAME I got so excited
haha i definitevely thought of the podracer as well.
My face went from😁 to 😞
I love how back in Phantom Menace Anakin says "now this is podracing" whilst flying a Naboo starship. Now Mando is flying a Naboo starship around the same podracing track that started the whole saga
Nice catch and call back!
"that started the whole saga"
Daaamn that hurts... That actually hurts a lot.
I know right, Perfect. I wonder if they planned this or if they even realize it.
I'm not so sure we'll see Din/Luke/Grogu in the next episode.
This is Boba's show and the show should resume back to his POV. Typically with one off episodes like this, they are mid season and set up the next season's story. I think we caught up with Din, and know where he is headed and will see that in Mando Season 3.
👀
I was wrong indeed but not disappointed! Lol
@Jaryn H no, no it did not! Ain't it awesome???
I was so very very wrong!
I am now so very thrilled and intrigued.
Well this didn’t age well
I’m torn on seeing Din’s story line developed too much more within BoBF. I think it would take away from the story around Boba Fett. You could simply have him come back after seeing Grogu and Luke. Maybe imply he received training while there, then explore that side of the story in TM. Just a thought.
I agree with you to some extent. I think they have to have crossover episodes like this to keep the characters and plot tied together properly, but I was surprised that they spent almost the entire episode featuring Din. Maybe the reason will become clearer in the episodes to come.
It was needed.. I lost a lot of interest in the show.. this feels like an episode of Mandalorian.
Agreed. They've set up Mando perfectly for season 3. But I hope they stick to Boba fett. Maybe he wont get trained by luke though. Boba teaches him sword/staff techniques the its about Din learning the blade
I hate to say it, I was much more invested in this episode because it just felt like Star Wars, the last episodes of book of boba Fett have fell off. I hope they find a way to incorporate Mando into it because I don’t know if Boba can carry it.
11:17 I absolutely loved seeing a BD model in something besides Fallen Order, I love its design. Very original design. Then we have BB-8. A ball. With a hemispherical ball on top of that ball. Just rolling around. Like. A ball. Wow
All the subtle callbacks to the prequels and OT, the action, the music and dialogue in this episode was amazing. Bryce really knows what she's doing when it comes to Star Wars.

I was so confused when I saw her as the director lmao. We’ve got Claire Dearing as a Star Wars director.
So I am wondering, where in Mandalorian history does Magneto fall? Was he the first Mandalorian?
She’s amazing !!
Agree
Din Djarin is the greatest character in Star Wars with Anakin Skywalker. It's going to be great seeing him restore Mandalore to greatness
@Tyler Comix dude
Ashoka ?
Luke?
I love the callback to Episode 1!
Being a huge prequel fan (I'm in my 40's and grew up with the original trilogy but understand and love George's overall vision), I was very disappointed Disney hardly had anything to do with the prequels in their sequel trilogy. Not having Anakin appear was unforgivable.
So the strong references here, and showing the podrace canyon again was amazing!
John and Dave both understand and love George's complete saga and they show their love here. Thank you 😍
possessor of the Darksaber. So I believe this entire episode was basically explaining to the audience the future set for Boba.
I liked how "Rippley" hollowed out the droid socket on Din's new ship - definitely looks Grogu size
This was a great episode. I felt like Mando season 3 was here! Great explanation on all the goodies, and the easter eggs.
I think they could have made this episode perfect just by having Boba come with Fennec to talk to Mando at the end. It’s weird for him not to appear in an episode of his own show, but I absolutely loved this episode.
This episode saved the show.
Well, actually Boba was tied up that day at the motor vehicle office trying to renew his tag for Slave 1. Everyone knows that's gonna take all day.
This was a great episode, in the wrong show...
This is a Mandalorian story to be truthful. Boba Fett is just a big part of Din Joran becoming the new Mandalorin King. This is a Star Wars version of Game of Thrones The Throne of Mandalor. I can see Din Joran and Boba Fett building an army that will give the New Empire pause.
This is after the death of the second Darkstar. Before Luke builds the Jedi school.
It kinda proved The Mandalorian is far better than Book of Boba
Since I’m hyped for Boba my only critique is wanting to see more of him right away since we just got the whole season of Mando, but I cannot complain because I really loved this episode and the time they took to add all these details. Many of these stories are going to overlap and I cannot wait to see what’s next to flesh out this lore. Can’t wait! Love the video and the Easter eggs I had missed!
Seeing Luke train mando would be phenomenal, but I feel like that much luke cgi would be a maybe. I can see boba teaching him staff/sword techniques in later scenes like how the Tuskans did boba
I don't necessairily see Luke being that big of a character because Grogu's CGI is a lot better....and he's a main character (obv it's all different, but my point)...if his CGI was better I'd expect him to stick around longer.
Yeah, if there was more of young Luke I feel it would be better to simply switch to Sebastian Stan than rely on cgi
that's what i was thinking. It would have to be a lot of deepfaking for luke to look good. So maybe Boba or even Ashoka/Sabine? I wonder if Boba knows of the darksaber
Such a good episode! I missed mando so much and I can’t wait for more of his story
This was a beautiful episode! Can't wait for more mando, Luke, and Bobba Fett this season and other seasons to come!!
I think we won't see Mando till the season finale, after he visits Grogu, and that story will be told in Mando's new season.
No
I hope not
@ShadowAussie N7 I agree, they both need to be on the lengthier side. I think the next episode should be split up between Boba and Mando.
Facts
I hope so
I thought it was amazing. It felt like a short movie with the pacing and scene structures. Bryce did a wonderful job directing this episode. Also, I know it's a stretch, but maybe the N1 starfighter is the same one Anakin used in Phantom Menace. The code on the side of the cockpit looks similar, unless it's the same on all the ships.
I love how they are tying the shows together. Feels like an even bigger galaxy :)
One of my favorite scenes from the episode is when Mando has the head and is going to return the bounty. From the moment he gets on the elevator up to the cantina to when he gets off the entire shot is uninterrupted, no camera cuts between dialogue, none of that it just follows Mando all the way
I don’t think I stopped grinning the entire episode! 😂 The prequel Easter eggs were never ending!! These guys KNOW how to do Star Wars
Kanan explains it in Rebels about the increased weight of the Darksaber: "Energy constantly flows through the crystal. You're not fighting with a simple blade as much as you are directing a current of power. Your thoughts, your actions, they become energy. They flow through the crystal as well, and become a part of the blade."

@They Should Have Never Given Me Internet Moff Gideon clearly thought he deserve the darksaber. Mando in the final ep clearly showed he is not really keen nor care much about its heritage.
@The Goblin Not to mention he is not very keen with the historical and political baggage that comes with the ownership of the dark saber...
@william flowers Gar Saxon and his Imperial Supercommandos were one such group, though they ended up falling to Sabine (Beating Saxon in a duel and then recalibrating The Duchess to attack the duraplast of the stormtroopers and supercommandos). Gideon likely found others willing to bargain.
@william flowers house Wren
One fact missed to add to the Anakin part: Ripley said it was commissioned directly by the Queen of Naboo…aka Padmé !
Theory I just wanted to thank you for this amazing breakdown. I really hope we see Din get trained by a Jedi. This episode was epic. Thanks for your breakdown. I am on the same page as you :)
I’m not as steeped in Star Wars lore/legend as most, but I have truly enjoyed ALL of the Book of Boba immensely. I hope they keep it going!!
Loved the T-2 reference, on the destruction of mandalor & how he flew the same route as the podracers did. Excellent episode🤛
I feel like the grougu/Luke stuff will happen in Mando S3. He’ll leave for a sec but we won’t know what happens until S3. Just feels weird to abruptly stop the Boba story to shift completely to Mando.
I was so pleasantly surprised to see that this was basically a new episode of The Mandalorian.
Oh man, this episode was by far the best one! I am just a little bit sad for Boba because we had nothing at all lol
This gets me so excited! Love the episode’s so far and how it ties in with Mando. Thx for the amazing video can’t wait for new episodes! 🙏
So why can’t we have this director do an entire show with one consistent vision. This episode stands out. I want more of it
You had 2 seasons of this and you will get more of this. and BTW mando hat different directors aswell.

@FN-1701AgentGodzillaRangerPrime Ω In Robert's defense Favreau can't direct. Also its not Robert's fault His episodes were 30 mins. Not to mention the weakest writing in any episodes was by far the ones He got to helm.
If Bryce directed Ep 1 & Ep 3 it wouldn't of mattered due to the episode's short length & the weak writing & lazy time jumps in episode 3.
For real
@Nyle Not True! Any blame should be laid at Favreau's BOBF structure length wise. That's a major con but I've still really enjoyed the show cause the lore, world building, & storytelling have been there.
Episode's length fluctuates and for a limited series that's a detriment that has hurt the narrative.
Hypothetically if (Ep5 & Ep 2) were 37 mins nobody would be praising those at the best thus far regardless of Bryce's exceptional direction, the callbacks to prequels and OT, Rebels, Din Jarin's return, Jedi Fallen Order etc.
Hey theory, I was watching A new Hope recently and a question came to my mind. What if Luke said yes to going with Han and leaving to be a smuggler? Just thought it would be an interesting topic to cover for a theory or something.
This episode was just so amazing. Lots of memory lanes and my all time favorite starfighter 😍
There have been a number of Dune connections in this series (and the SW story in general) and I saw some of the Harkonnen's attack against the Atreides on Arrakis in David Lynch's 1984 version in the Tie-Bomber attack on Mandalore. Big explosions below same round-shaped ships - looked very cool!
This episode was great, but I find the explanation of the Darksaber and the reasoning of this prophecy more than a little suspicious. For the sake of argument, let's say Sabine and Bo Katan fought over the Darksaber and Sabine yielded once Bo Katan had her beat - not that big a leap considering Bo Katan's greater experience as a fighter. Even with the Darksaber, is anybody really buying it that Bo Katan would suddenly become Luke Skywalker and defeat the Emperor and his army of Clone Troopers? We're not talking about idiot Stormtrooper conscripts at this point but battle hardened Clone veterans that would have outnumbered the Mandalorians 10 to 1 with Darth Vader leading the charge.
What the hell do you think would have been Palpatine's response when the Mandalorians a) refused to pledge obedience to the Empire or b) became slaves and later revolted onto to be wiped out in a Judgement Day grand finale? Or do we still sit here, nod our heads, and say: "Oh right, yeah that's how they were defeated. This brand new prophecy we never heard of before. Yup, definitely that. If only Bo Katan dueled Sabine everything would've worked out better."
I love the long scenes of Mando just commuting in the Star Wars Universe. It really feels like it’s a fleshed out, living, thriving world
Checking the Dark Saber in baggage was hilarious.
The ringworld scenes had Star Citizen vibes to me

@gothhhhh yes it's a generic scene in any sci-fi, but it's star wars so ig that makes it cooler 🤷♂️
Bra that like any generic scene in a sci-fi but to each they own
I love this episode, but I hate that the Beskar spear was destroyed. I would love to see Mando regularly dual wield the dark saber and spear in close quarter combat.
@YouSpewed ! yeah it would be hard, but weapons are his religion, I think he could make it work. Lol
Do you know how hard it would be to use both of those weapons at the same time? Each of them require both hands to use efficiently.
And the armorer used like 5% of that material for grogu's chainlink ⛓️.. could have hooked a homie up with some extra whistling birds.
8:04 was soooo T2! Scary and exciting. Hard to not get chills on many levels both in fantasy and even reality
Great summary. I stood and watched the entire episode with anticipation. Although I was hoping to see Boba Fett, hearing the music from the Mandalorian brought me back a year enjoying the show... I thought it was cool to see the course for the pod race that Anakin raced on.. I do hope there's more of Luke Skywalker in the show. And I do hope he Ashoka get to meet and discuss Anakin.
Another extremely detailed, well researched and entertaining video, excited to see more breakdowns theory! :)
I have to think that the droid port being “sealed off” by a bubble canopy and not just a piece of metal is hinting that it might be the future compartment for Grogu
great call.
For sure what Ripley had in mind
I got that reaction as well but I don't like it. I was hoping that Boba would gift Mando a new Razor Crest but if that bubble is for Grogu it means that Naboo ship will be more permanent.

I think he just needs a place to put passengers
I love this episode, mostly because Mando is my favored to Boba. Though I do agree and wish that Boba hadn’t had an entire episode robbed of him right before the finale. And while I’m absolutely willing to believe that this episode was made to get through some muck so they’d have more time in Season 3 of Mando, it truly is a shame to see Boba get shafted, as he does deserve to come into his own. Though with what they’ve provided so far and Boba’s (sometimes painfully) slow ride to actually doing things on Tatooine, I think that perhaps two longer final episodes would be good to do him justice. But still, I love you Mando, but that’s 40 minutes Boba sadly won’t be getting back
I loved this episode, I had some of my strongest reactions from this episode in particular. However, I think it did feel a little out of place in the Book of Boba Fett. The tie-in to Tattooine at the end saved it for me but it is a little odd IMO
It was truly an amazing episode. Plus its length is well appreciated.
16:29 You know what would be cool? If they made his saber color gold, kind of like how Yoda’s was technically supposed to be in the movies, because in legends his saber crystal color is gold. Like the Grand Master of the Jedi order. That would be a nice little touch there, I think
My only criticism of the episode was how great it was, it makes you think they’re purposely undermining boba fetts dominance and power
@I U eh I don’t mind the actor at all honestly nor the gut. He is canonicaly and old man at this point. (Look at Rex from rebels he was old and fat) so I don’t think it’s him at all. I just think it’s the writers.
@Zach Robinson Honestly the casting of jango, bobba and the clones as temura morrison has always felt off to me. especially now that he is old. He kinda just feels dry. Also kind of hard to perceive as a good fighter. Like Bobba who is supposed to be badass has a gut and everything. kinda throws me off
@J W well the last episode was when he finally got fully healed by the bacta tank. Anyone suffering from a serious injury gonna take some time to get back on form.
@Sossaa 29 well being a leader generally means more talking and less personal action

There's actually a book called "Ringworld" from 1970 that was probably the inspiration for the ringworld both here and in the Halo series. The interesting thing is the ring in Ringworld orbits a Star and functions similarly to what is shown in the book of boba, by having an inner circle of metal plates that are used to create an artificial night/day cycle on the ringworld below it.
Gotta toss this out there. I know Mondo said that there was something that he had to do before helping them. I think he not going to have a chance to make that happen. Pretty sure that war is going to break out and force Mondo to stay and help first. Then, once he's got Boba all settled, all of Mando season three will be the journey getting to Grogu and whatnot. Thoughts?
I think they’re gonna save mando seeing grogu for season 3
Absolute joy this episode. I was speechless at the end. It was like a perfectly compressed movie. It’s everything Star Wars should be from legendary tales to tinkering with vehicles. Can’t wait for the next episode!
The Book of Boba Fett Episode 5 feels more like a Prequel to Mandalorian season 3. Kinda feels weird not having Boba, but seeing Mando again is quite surprising and a joy.
@Guyinthecomments ratio
This episode definitely felt like a Mando season 2.5 special episode
@Guyinthecomments L
Dude! My favorite episode out of Boba and Mando; besides the last episode of Mando with Luke lol. This episode was so nostalgic and it was just an amazing episode. I loved how it correlated with the prequels. They even had the debris on the exit ramp from the pod race. Bryce definitely knows what she is doing and she needs to have more rights to Star Wars.
My thought on the darksaber is that Mando needs to tap into the force, which is why the Armorer said he needed to focus with his mind in order to use the darksaber.
The only reason why I’m somewhat skeptical on the Cal helping Luke find younglings is because he destroyed the holocron at the end saying their destiny should be left to the force
I love how the Darksaber is the equivalent of Excalibur for the Mandalorians, passed down for years and serves to produce the one true king...the Mandalore for the armored and many colored space knights of the round table if you will.
I had a smile on me the entire show. It really felt good to see Din, the references to Grogu, the references to Mandalor, and the BD bot really made me happy and hopeful for Cal.

@Kenneth Elliott I agree that it's clever marketing and it remains to be seen how - if at all - it fits into BoB.. if anything it does a really good job at showing how lackluster the writing and directing in BoB really was because this was pretty entertaining for the most part. granted mostly because they starved the audience for 4 eps..
The average fan nowadays seems to be just clamoring for fan service and Disney will 100% sacrifice story/continuity and logic for it where it can.
@They Should Have Never Given Me Internet and it looks like the general star wars fans fell for it. “Best episode ever!” Is the reaction I’m getting. and I’m sitting there like ‘really? There was no story in connection to the previous 4 episodes.’
I've played Fallen Order and I totally missed that.
@They Should Have Never Given Me Internet because he loves him? This is like saying Darth Vader/anakin is the McGuffin of star wars.
Loved the prequel throwbacks. Always awesome when they bridge the eras together
LOVE the BD unit. Loved just watching it in the background of all the scenes playing around.
Setinne giving up the dark-saber makes for a “what if” episode of what would’ve happened to the mandolorians if she didn’t give it up. She was skilled with the blade and full of heart if she learned to lead she could’ve saved the mandos to some degree
Amazing episode. This gets me hype for Mando season 3. I'm sure he will show up again in Boba fett but if he is going to see the grogu first it may mess up the timeline if they wait to show that in Mando season 3. Can't wait to see what is next.
Friend: “How was Book of Boba Chapter 5?”
Me: “Wizard”
Furry
@DMPREC0RDS if you legit think that you didn’t watch the end
you mean Mando season 3 premier? I legit think they uploaded the wrong episode to Disney+ lol
a surpirse to be sure but a welcome one
"Now this is podracing! woohoo"
Love the connection you made from what the armorer said about how a mandalorian will ride in and bring in a new age and how that connected to Boba Fett. Adds a lot of new potential ideas on what could happen in the future.
FINALLY a Prequel reference THANK YOU!!! this episode was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I WENT CRAZY!!!!! I literally screamed when Din Djarin showed up
The issue with this episode is that... Boba Fett was not in an episode of his own show that is supposed to be his story! But it sets Mando up in a very interesting place for season 3.
Oh my god I can't wait for the new episode!!! Seeing more of luke possibly would be so freaking cool!
I don't think we are going to see Luke or Grogu in this series, since there is a pending war between Boba and Pike syndicate and only two episodes to go, showing Luke and Grogu would steal the spotlight from Boba. If there is a chance to see them it will be at the end of the series and even in a post credit scene, at the end of the day the series is about the crime lords fighting to keep the power.
I agree, I think Mando will reunite with Grogu off screen. We will see this reunion, etc in the next season of the Mandalorian.
Yes exactly like they did in Season 2 Mandolorian when Boba Fett killed Bid.
@Dogwater it doesn’t. 7 is confirmed
@Red Stark Boxing Sports & News yes he has to go to the fountain on mandolore to get redeemed. hes gona use grogub o help restore mandolore with his force power
There's a crime lord ?
It was an awesome episode and best one! Even though like boba fett show so far . Loved episode 5 the most. It setting up a lot. And loved how he flew n1 Naboo star-fighter ship, and same course that anakin flew in the episode 1 pod racing course! And it’s just great! Definitely going to see Luke and grogu or maybe see Ahsoka or boba Katan or even seeing kal kestis because we saw the droid BD-1 from Jedi fallen order that kal kestis had although not saying it’s the same one probably duplicate but be cool. Thanks for the video! And enjoying the content!
I would love to see Din turn out to be force sensitive and finds this out as Luke trains him to to duel, and eventually trains him in the ways of the force as he becomes the second Mandolorian/Jedi. That would be too beautiful!
This episode renewed my faith, I just hope that Boba gets some redemption at some point…?
By far this was one of my favorite episodes ever. The nostalgia alone was worth it. Episode 1 was my favorite movie.
This episode was incredible. Some of the best Star Wars in a long time.. they actually let the show breathe and let you experience the universe
Bryce needs her own trilogy. She’s a phenomenal director.

The best part about a live action cal is that he'll look exactly like the game since they used the actual actors face in the game. That'll be pretty awesome
I just realized that the scene where Mando cuts the guy in half with the dark saber is actually a parallel to the first pilot episode when he finished the guy off by having the entrance door close on him and cutting him in half. Everything in that scene was a throwback to the first scene in the pilot episode in season 1. Awesome!
To me this was an amazing episode of the The Madolorian! BUT I felt like there was so much effort and production value put into this episode, that to me, it makes the previous episodes look like a joke, and Boba Fett along with it. I really hope they start to put this amount of effort into Boba.
during the canyon scene we actually see the broken remains of the barrier at the base of the ramp that Anakin blasted his podracer through and launched off of.
It’s ironic that my favorite episode from Boba’s show is the one without Boba. 😂😭 I LOVED the pod racing callback. I was really hoping that the BD droid was really BD-1 and that we would finally see Cal in live action. One can only hope for the future.
I have the feeling that it might actually be BD-1 but I'm also pretty sure the fact that we see him without Cal means that cal is dead.
I literally thought he was going to walk into frame and got excited
Ironic, he could save others from losing popularity among fans, but not himself
I would love to see Cal in live action, but we know his story will continue in fallen order 2
That was Wizard!
I really hope they don’t over extend Luke’s appearance in the series by training mando, i’d rather see him train with Ashoka
this episode was amazing and gets me so hyped for Mando season 3!
I think it would be cool to see grogu turn the chain link armor into his lightsaber hilt later on🤷♀
Just because we saw a BD droid doesn’t mean it’s Cal’s droid, or that we’ll actually see him.🙄🙄
I loved this episode! How Mando struggled with the dark saber is how Rey should have struggled fighting Kylo in episode 7.
There’s an episode 7???
@Hard Boiled Entertainment yeah from a gun that literally one shots everyone else and suddenly Kylo can survive a gut shot? Taking this side of the argument the fight should never have happened anyway since Kylo would be dead.
@Guyinthecomments Keep in mind Kylo had just suffered several shots to the gut from Chewie.
episode 7? Never heared of it, it doesnt exist.
Awesome, Love every minute of it!!! Episode 5 was more like a nod to The Mandolarian Season 1 since Episode 5 was the first episode that Boba Fett cameo. Mandalorian S2 Episode 6 Bobba Fett aided Din Djarin at the Place of Calls. I think Book of Bobba Episode 6 will probably be a fast forward after Din learns to wield the Dark Saber and repays Boba by coming like the Cavalry and maybe with the help of a few other Mandolarians or Force-sensitive sentients like Theory mention in the "Breakdown". We will know Wednesday Morning LOL until then wait and ponder.
If you remember when Kanan was teach Sabine to use it. his insight on the saber made a lot of sense. Where it absorbs the wielder's emotional state. And if the person is conflicted. ( Din's thinking of Grogu ) would hold the user back and make the blade feel heavier. And when a person is emotionally sound. They can be one with the blade. It was a treat for sure. I can't wait to see what Luke's got going on.
13:51 I dont understand why didnt Mando just say what happened when the New Republic officer asked. They were obviously somewhat friendly with each other when he saved mando.
I give this an 8/10. It was a cool episode, but I really wanted to see Boba Fett here and there in it.
I also love how the Armorer says "it's all now part of Legends" when talking about the Mythosaur. Very funny
@Lapis Infernalis yeah that's what I meant
I think it is more a reference to the old Canon (now Legends) where Boba Fett becomes Mand'alor and brinks them back to glory.
@Darth Avarath yeah but that was the point, the beasts are just Legends at this point, both as myths in modern times and also a wink to the old EU
Even though the Mythosaur is canon. Quiil (the Ugnaught in season 1) talked about them.
I always thought that Sabine was gonna end up training Din with Ezras lightsaber. Which I think would be cooler to see cuz then they could be this epic mandalorian-Jedi type duo in both their armor.
I'm glad they arent afraid to get brutal, most of the Mandalorian seemed like it was trying to be more light hearted, which I was ok with to an extent, but wanted some more brutality to match how mandolorians are supposed to be.
I feel like the way that Din struggles using the dark saber really adds to the way that Sabine is able to learn it in Rebels
Hi Theory ! Great work as usual ! Im just confused about the hype around this serie and this episode. It is for sure the best episode of the show, but there is still so much wrong about it. I have the feeling that a lot of fans are blinded by all the fan service and the nice visual effects that the show provides. When you pay attention at the story it tells, its impact, its consistency, the characters development, its quite empty... This Boba Fett show makes no sense.. We were all so disapointed by the Sequel that now poeple are getting used to mediocrity as long as it fits in the lore.. This is Star Wars for god sake not MCU :/
Jon favreau as paz vizsla was absolutely amazing, seeing an energy shield and live action was such an amazing feeling!
Back in Mando season 1, someone else was in the suit while Favreau voiced him, so I think it’s the same deal here
funny, as he also voiced pre visla in TCW
@C L18 credits are unclear. It sounds like him, but its credited to a stunt double. He wrote it, and he dose like putting himself into his productions.

@C L18 This is something I’d like to know as well
One: before he gets "pulled over" he was spinning (y'know it's a "good trick").
Two: maybe this is the canon for all lightsabers and not just the Darksaber. It's not just a laser sword. It does need some connection to wield.
A connection? Grievous pulled it off without any connection..
@Thor Odinson Maybe, I mean, every living thing has a connection to the force so it's not implausible. I guess Mando has to learn that the darksaber is a part of him, like an extension of his body rather than just being a "tool", like his other weapons.
@carlpeng Finn is also force sensitive. So maybe in canon, in order to atleast use a saber properly such as a fight you need some connection to the force.
Meanwhile, Finn can somehow wield it just fine
When I was I kid for some reason I thought only Jedi can turn on and use a lightsabers.
I feel like the dark saber is a lot like the z sword. Extremely heavy and one needs to train in order to use it properly.
Episode 5 exposed how bad episodes 1-4 are, and made me realize that Boba Fett died in that pit. Just give us more Mandalorian.
Moff used it with a lot of ease. Curious who taught him how to wield it so proficiently
Edit: the dark saber obviously lol
