Am I the only one who always felt kind of empathy “for” pennywise? I mean the main reason for that (in my case) is that I always picture bills face on pennywises (which is kinda dumb since pennywise is a fictional character and bills my absolute fav person in the world) but i always had this “connection” of felling bad for him lmao when he ate Vicky I was just like “k go for it” haha (sry if the grammar is ABSOLUTELY WRONG haha english is not my main language) and that’s why I also felt super sad when pennywise died

Great video, as always! The film didn't work because they invested in CGI and not the characters.

I love Part 1, it's the coming to the age story, reminded me a lot of my childhood. The 2nd part is good, but dragged on too long.

I feel like im the only one who really enjoyed CG in Horror :') i really like the idea of being creative in creating all these monsters pennywise can transform into, and i enjoy seeing the monsters and different kind of monsters for more than just a 2 second jumpscare. So i can really get a close look at the details. Like i LOVED the fortune cookie monsters. That was amazing. But yeah, i guess opinions differ! 😌✨

I think it was weird that this movie focused a lot on weird spider creatures and little creatures instead of the actual penny wise

Honestly did anyone ever think that the ritual might have actually worked? I mean it was supposed to be a battle of the minds and after starting it all the members had to face pennywise illusions, ridding themselves of their fears again until they finally found the solution. I doubt just chanting and holding hands was the whole ritual.

I never thought the ending was bad. But if it WAS, then that STILL works, because it correlates to Bill's botched story endings.

It 2017 I loved. I got the vibe that the writers producers and director were told to bring back a scary clown and showed why people should fear Pennywise again. Gloves were off and you can do whatever you want. The acting was very good. I very much enjoyed the first chapter.
It: Chapter Two I was disappointed in it. I walked in after viewing the first one with such high hopes and was let down badly. I didn't get the same vibe for Chapter Two as I had gotten for Chapter One (It 2017). No where near and it felt like the writers producers and director were told that what they did for Chapter One was too much and to greatly tone down the scary and fear factor that the first one captured. I will admit that there was a few scenes that were creepy (my favorite the old lady walking away as Bev is looking at her poem) but overall I didn't have that vibe the first one gave me. Chapter One I can understand making the movie as long as they did because they needed to tell the story of It and why the kids were afraid of It. Chapter Two the story seemed to long for me. I understand they needed to remember but there was things that seemed pointless to me (nothing I can really remember). The ending of Pennywise didn't sit well with me either. I know a lot of people enjoyed Chapter Two and to those I applaud you.

Soon I plan on reading the book which I never did. I'm hoping that after reading the book I might be able to appreciate and understand Chapter Two more. I heard that they were more towards the book with the remakes.

Absolutely agree 100% on the CGI. That part where Bev is in the old woman's house (I won't spoil anything) at first gave me the creeps, if was amazing. It all worked, up until the instant the CGI witch came on screen. Such a shame.

  • Why you built Like that

You are sure right. It just doesn’t mesure up at all. The CGI was atrocious again and the ending was just as underwhelming as the first Original movie. This was one of the most anticipated movie of 2019 and I don’t feel like it delivered

Tae S17 ehh we’re entitled to our own opinions but I gotta disagree there hasn’t been any movie in the past 10 years that’s made me scared but I’m more of a nostalgia so that’s probably why, but some of the newer movies are still good to watch tho

I still want to know how Henry can be tackled, break his neck as his head slams into the side of the well, falls for who knows how many feet (the losers needed a rope to get half of the distance he fell) and still manages to get up and walk away completely unharmed. IT must have given him superpowers because that shit isn't natural
