Happy Friday Margie. I sure do miss candy apples. We use to have a candy store that made homemade caramel candy apples with peanuts and they were the best! They closed down and I haven't found another place since. I never buy the ones from the grocery store, too many chemicals. Your candy apples look so pretty and the lollipops too! Tfs and have a great weekend. Sending Cali love and thumbs up! XOXO :)

Lila & Scruffy, This recipe is almost indestructible...so easy. Please give it a try. I know you won't be sorry. I agree, I see candy apples in the store and do not buy them. That is because I think to myself, I wonder how fresh they are. This is the time to make them, mid October and the apples are just off the trees. Go to your favorite farm store, mine is Sorgels (closest to me) and that is just the beginning of the fun! Thank you for the lovely comment, Margie
