    There's Wayne's Brothers episode where they're trying to butter up their dad for something and one of them says something along the lines of "we have his favorite food; fried bologna sandwiches".     This is kind of content I would create if I had a channel. I'd have the breakfast version, fried bologna with egg (fried or scrambled both are excellent) and American cheese. Then the any meal version. Thick sliced fried bologna with mustard on plan white bread. Cheese is optional. You don't toast the bread. If anything, you trim the crust. That's good ...wait Alton already has that catch phrase.

    So many health-conscious ivory-tower millennials miss out on some of the best things, like how much better a bologna sandwich becomes when you char the bologna and put it on just about any bread but enriched white. I like to use garlic bologna and tomato instead of pickle but I'm with you on the mustard, mayo and lettuce. Definitely not something you can eat every day unless you have the metabolism of a 10 year old and an activity drive to match, but if you're 10 years old you probably can't fry bologna. I take advantage of making fried bologna finger sandwiches any time I'm making food for a party.

    I grew up (and still sometimes) eating fried bologna and white rice! My grandpa is Filipino and things like that were a staple in my house. Now when I make it though everyone gets grossed out and is immediately giving me crap but it's SOOO good!!!!

    Lots of commenters are talking about how silly it is to film this, but honestly this episode was helpful: I like pan-fried pepperoni, but it always curls up, and I'd never seen that "cut slits around the perimeter" thing to prevent that. I'll try that next time.
