I don’t know how much longer I have on this earth but I would love to see a team with a young quarterback move forward. I think we did the right thing

And here as it stands at this moment Tom can still win another SB if the Bucs can make another run here.

@Lucario690 ~ It's waaaay too early to close the book on Mac Jones, or even fairly assess his ceiling as an NFL QB. Josh Allen didn't blossom until his third year (2020); some take even longer to mature. Mac did a great job this season, especially for a kid who had to fill Tom Brady's cleats. Plus, there's a big diff between college & pro football. BIG. There's a lot to learn. Imho, Mac's rookie year was a success, but his full potential won't be realized for at least a few seasons yet. The only ones who claim to know better at this point are fans of other teams. 😝

@Acoustic Shadow Im not gonna lie, I got way too excited during that 7 game win streak. I guess I was expecting too much from Mac during his rookie year. I think he's good but, not great. But like I said let me see how he does next season. 10-7 isnt bad for a rookie and he started all 17 games this season. So some positives there.

A lot of things went NE's way during that stretch, which may have fooled us into thinking we were better than we actually were. The Mac 3-pass game where we beat the Bills in Buffalo, was a stellar example of brilliant coaching. Belichick & staff took advantage of the elements, while Buffalo tried to ignore them. The Bills remained the better team - but the Pats were smarter in a hurricane. NE could have easily finished 8-9, too.

This defense hasn’t been playing well for the last four games, this was not as surprising as most things to me. That was my concern for all of the last five games… I think Bill’s son is a defensive coordinator that may be a point of contention. I’m not sure he’s ready to be a coordinator, obviously I’m not a football coach it’s an opinion

@Laxa30 Team speed is seriously lacking. Jones is a game manager and isn't used to dudes in his face for 60 minutes. Chuck Noll was once asked why a young player was outperforming everyone else on the field and how to do you coach that. Noll said, you don't coach it, you draft it. I think it was cold and even JC Jackson was getting smoked by Stephon Diggs.

As A Bills fan my take on Pats defense was that it looked like Judon was definitely not 100. Hightower also playing dinged up. Judson is a beast but it didn't show last 1/4 of the season. If I was a Pats fan I would be encouraged by what your team did this year. Although I hate BB (and Brady) I must give grudging respect to them both. I am glad that the Bills are the next dynasty in the AFC !!

Our defense is OLD. Hightower and McCourty need to go. We need fresh guys like Dugger. The veteran guys are nice to have but their years start to show against a very young league right now.
