Honestly how can anyone hate this legend? I'm not even American and I love him

My experience watching this was that I was witnessing a man facing his own existentialist crisis and I think it has more to do with his life stage as opposed to the loss of his father. It also read to me as a sort of confession in which he was trying to beat back the demons of that ole dreaded impostor syndrome that whispers in our ears from time to time. I also had the feeling that the show was a culmination of his hard work that he had done with his therapist and this was a way to find healing. Don't get me wrong I loved the show and his intensely personal exploration done on stage. His focus among other things seemed to me to be influenced by his full, in-the-face, realization of our mortality and I think Bruce may need to do another show, part 2, once he hits the brick wall of our own forgotten oblivion. For the record, my whole family built Chevys in the factories of St. Catharines Ontario where my dad raced his 409, dual quad, Chevy Impala on weekends....and yes, we drank warm beer in the soft summer rain too.

hate to be a downer but the Boss priced out all his fans that have been loyal to him like myself since 1978. unfortunately I don't have $850.00 to hear him talk about shit he talked about on, The Darkness, The River, and The Born in the USA tours. Jesus for $850.00 I expect Clarence to come down from heaven and blow his sax with him.

I think he's lying about Jersey--never heard anyone from NJ with that Okee accent...where are you really from Bruce? My bet is he is an alien who got his states mixed up upon entry. Love you no matter what bossman, no matter where you hail from you are . a . genius and have reduced me to tears, yet again.

Just seen this on Netflix, amazing! One of the best performances I've ever seen anyone do. Hadn't seen Springsteen for awhile, and he sort of looks like a barroom brawler now, sort of like Lon Chaney Sr.

"He nacido para correr ("Born to run").

What I learned from watching Bruce on Broadway - just about everything Bruce did was totally phony from his working class accent to his factory experiences - no wonder he's depressed - the guy is an intellectual wasteland of nothingness "Bruce the Boss" is a guy without any real identity - just rambles on and on and on and no about nothing special - a total waste of two hours

*Saw him on April 4th last year. Sat in the 4th row behind Actress Maria Bello...five seats away from Oprah Winfrey and Gail King and Actor Tony Goldwyn sat behind me. I will never forget that night...not so much for the stars who were in the audience with me BUT for the AMAZING STAR ON STAGE. Bruce Springsteen made me laugh, cry and tremble with emotion. I have seen him in concert twice before BUT I will NEVER forget THAT SHOW....it was one of the top five memories of my life.*

*They are 2 VERY different settings. I saw him at the L.A. Colosseum and he rocked my ass off for 2 nights. The Broadway show is small and intimate AND personal. He could have played THAT show in a bigger theater but wanted it to be special and INTIMATE for the audience. Both shows were extremely special. THE 2 rocking Springsteen concerts were my favorite concerts EVER (& I've seen hundreds) UNTIL I saw the Broadway Springsteen Show.*
*YOU seem to be hung up & negative on something...have you EVER even seen or experienced a Springsteen concert? Maybe that's why you are so judgemental.*

Kinda hung up on that , aren’t you ? How many comments of the same ? Seems he has quite a hold over you if you are spending so much time dwelling on his “ inadequacies “. You’re THAT familiar with his every day life to know who he hangs with ? You live in Monmouth County and see him with millionaires but not with every day people on the beach , diners , ball fields ? How sad for you

Weird how he hangs out without a security guard in his home turn and Asbury Park , working out at the gym, getting up and playing with the bar band , going to local events ... all with every day people. Fans go up and talk to him and he’s always Generous with his time if he isn’t with his family. Famous people run in many if the same circles at times , but according to friends who live in monmouth County , he prefers just to hang out
