I used to play Roblox, and I remember the website would update the physics and like every ride in people’s amusement parks would explode into 5 million legos, sometimes flinging players so far off the baseplate it would crash the game 😂

  • James Michael Harding

Opened in 1978, closed in 1996 and endured 18 years of injuries and deaths on its unsafe, poorly-designed rides. If we had this park here in Australia it would've been long gone by 1985 and replaced with housing

They say an ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure. If Action Park had heeded this advice, maybe they wouldn't have been sued into bankruptcy.

If you go into a pool that is blasting waves and you don’t know how to swim, at that point it’s natural selection

The 7000 injury's per year also counts dehydration so that number is about as valid as me saying my coaster count is 500

I have something to say: if you have a secure connection to a website on public wifi you are just fine, unless there is a man in the middle attack going on. On home wifi, you actually have two layers of security to websites.

I figured it would be “Reckless Ted’s Amusement Park” in New Jersey. That place got shut down after all those people on the log flume ride got salmonella.

The park still exists under the name "Mountain Creek Water Park". They even renamed it to Action Park for a short while to cash in on the infmay, later reverting back to Mountain Creek

This looks like a tame version of a park I made in roller coaster tycoon.

  • Everything is coming up Milhouse

The worst waterpark I went to was somewhere in the Appalachian mountains. The waterslide was a really cool design following the mountainside. The problem was they repaired the slide cracks and holes with concrete mortar. So every joint was basically sandpaper. Not a real problem with the foam pad, the joints just kind of slowed you down. Unfortunately when you hit a patched hole, it would grab the pad out from under you and you would continue down the slide hitting each mortar joint about every 10 feet and any other patches down into the pool. I still have nightmares about that and it was over 30 years ago
