You know tastys given up when they don’t even use their own kitchenware
In what world is this classic beef stew???? American stews are weird... Why would you serve it with pasta???
The pan is likeOh some meat, neatOh and vegetables, okayWhoa whoa whoa, that's a lotta foo- WHAT IM DROWNING HEP L
What can I use in place of the red wine???
I wonder how many cows farted in the making of this video?
I feel bad for the one person that gets the bay leaf
for my Nigerians would you want to try this with your rice
I’m vegan why am I watching this!?!? xD
In Germany we call this "Gulasch"
I really did enjoy your fabulous video it has given me some inspiration for a family meal I have cooked beef stew before but a bit differently yours looked so good thanks for your share..
The ‘Oh yes’ at the end always scares me
pagodeis poner la receta
So I actually made this ! First time cooking a tasty recipe and it turned out so well. Think I tricked people into thinking I could cook.
What kind of red wine
My mum made that with the recipe and it was so good.like if you are from Australia 🇦🇺
How i use knife hold the blade thigly and crunch with handle that's how it works.
Im literally eating that right now
At home Classic would mean "with potatoes", not pasta
So, you don't know how to dose rosemary. 🤣 That's 10 fold the amount necessary. And canola oil should not be heated, use olive oil instead.
Classic Beef stew isn’t eaten with pasta...
Yes,.it is commonly served with egg noodles. You need to get out more.
That looks *Tasty*
Can you make a giant Mac n cheese
After all of it though
That looked so good at the first cooking time
Egg noodles? Fill bowl with stew. Accompany with a huge slab of cornbread. Forget all your troubles for a while.......
Ok but WHY is no one talking about the fact that this is almost entirely the same footage you used for the braised beef video just a few days ago??
is there an alternative to the red wine? lol 19 and can't buy that sooo sadness XD
They sell non alcoholic wines to anyone.
Can i skip red wine?
Looks so good
Do not serve a stew with egg bloody noodles my word what are you doing Tasty, this is an affront to the UK where Angus beef bloody well comes from. Serve a stew with taters, as a hash, or on its own. Not bloody egg noodles, what a bizarre cross-cultural recipe.
Stroganoff is often served on noodles. Regular beef stew is equally good with egg noodles. Open your mind a little. It's honestly a great combination that you would almost certainly like if you weren't stubborn and just gave it a chance. It's good with potatoes as well, but noodles are great with stew.
Nah Pearsons own is better
rot wein ist eklich!
that’s not a beef stew. That’s a tomato sauce with beef
My beef stew or Gulash has a lot less Tomato in it, too. If I want a Bolognese, I'll do a Bolognese.
Is this a reupload or is it just me?
I’m a vegetarian 😅
Nah.... this isn't beef stew. Where are the potatoes? The thick broth? The crusty bread on the side? The veggie pieces are too small, and we always coat the beef with flour first to help make the gravy. This is more like Tasty's version of beef bourguignon, but served with egg noodles for some strange reason. Probably delicious, but not beef stew.
Wait this isnt how to basic--
So, is nobody else going to say something about how the dude just touches the raw beef and then puts his fingers into the pepper and salt to sprinkle it? Sure, it's for a show, but please, do pay attention and teach your viewers proper health procedure while in the kitchen. I do not want potentially contaminated salt and pepper on my salad or whatever.
That's the whole reason they have the salt and pepper in little bowls...so that they can dip into it without contaminating the larger package or salt or pepper shakers. They will toss out any leftover salt and pepper when they're finished preparing the stew.
Didn't they upload this already?
This is staple in ALL Nigerian homes!
what if i dont like wine
Who the hell puts Beef stew on pasta?
Millions and millions and millions of people. Beef stew served on buttered egg noodles is incredibly popular.
yea yea yea
Egg noodles ? Looks like pasta
nounplural noun: noodlesa strip, ring, or tube of pasta or a similar dough, typically made with egg and usually eaten with a sauce or in a soup.
Me: *comments* watching this without any food at home againAlso me: *has fridge filled with chicken nuggets*
I can't drink alcohol. Is there any substitute for the red wine or can I just remove it all together?
Just use beef or chicken stock or water.
BUT WHY NO PAPRIKA? :'(
How to braise beef ?
what can I use instead of red wine...
Don't ever take out the "Oh, yeah" expression from the Tasty videos and NEVER change the voice that says it.
Beef stew isn't 🍅 based and definitely not over noodles. And no where near enough meat for all that vegetables.and stock. Weird just weird.
Rosemary pine needles? Why? Chop those up you Neanderthal
That doesnt look like stew
When you recycle content too much you don't remember it was already uploaded
1) rice would be better 2) cheap cut meat like a flat iron works well here too
That's a great song!
Nice 👌Looks so delicious
...is carrots mandatory or can I skip that???
Who puts beef stew with egg noodles and not potatoes ?
+Jane Ryan-Douglas first off Im not British second off i was neither disgusted or dismissing it i was just giving my opinion that ive never seen it before, you don't need to give me a big essay basically being triggered over a harmless comment i left. i never said or implied " BEEF STEW IS NOT SERVED ON NOODLES!! WHO THE HELL EATS BEEF STEW WITH PASTA??? I told him to chill because he was being passive aggressive over a comment that honestly wasn't meant in a aggressive manner (it was a joke) but again some keyboard warrior got annoyed by it as per usual
+HiImKirrian it really IS odd to see so, so many people acting like somebody is killing kittens by putting stew over noodles. I have a feeling it's mostly Brits doing this. I know that I had stew in England and it was served over boiled potatoes, so that's probably the norm there. It's sometimes done that way in the US as well. But Brits are also likely to overreact to anything that's outside their everyday experience. IOW they can be SHOCKED by something as small as seeing stew served in a different way than they're used to. It should not really be that shocking as potatoes and noodles are both bland starches. They both work well. And whether you realize it or not, there is nothing the least bit strange about serving stews over noodles. To answer your question, yes, it is very widely practiced to serve stew with egg noodles, and its certainly not just in the US. It IS common. So it's kind of funny to tell someone to chill when they're just expressing surprise that people (again I assume mostly Brits) react so strongly to seeing noodles but not telling the people who are overreacting by insisting that "BEEF STEW IS NOT SERVED ON NOODLES!!." or "WHO THE HELL EATS BEEF STEW WITH PASTA???" that maybe they should chill as well. Or maybe that they should give it a try before dismissing it. I've had both. Stew with noodles is vastly better inho.
+Dave Jones lol chill if so many people are "shocked" by it is it really that common
Jesus Christ, you're like the tenth person to act shocked about that. LOTS of people eat stew with buttered noodles. It's classic. Try it sometime.
that Always Open music playing XD
Recycling is good for the environment and YT channels.Apparently 😌
Is there any substitute for wine?
This is not classic beef stew. In fact, it can barely be described as stew at all.
This is not beef stew.
wait... no dark roux??
Tip: Flour your beef before you brown it & you'll get a better crust and more flavor.
I am Muslim and do not drink wine can I replace it with water😊؟؟
Maybe sparkling grape juice? I would Google it first though
i like how this is essentially the same video as last weeks braised beef vid
The trinidadian stew beef is many times better.
How many times?
My mom always wonders how I pull dinner out of my ass, having never cooked until like a year ago. Little does she know, I just watch tasty vids all the time 👁️👄👁️
that will taste amazing on a bowl of white rice
You literally re-uploaded the “how to cook braised beef” video
Tasty is efficient af. Literally madr a video about Braised Beef not too long ago and then just reused their footage from there to make this.
Hey I love your videos but I have a quick question Tasty, why can’t you cook the full meat and then chop it? Thank you!!
Where I'm from beef stew and pot roast are used interchangeably and it's meat carrots potatoes that's about it
Very good. I need to make that!!!
I thought I was watching Always Open for a sec
How long can you refrigerate them? I would love to make a batch but for a meal prep
Oh no!!! You just had to add a bay leaf, a cinammon stick and red wine to the tomato!!
Nice 👍... remove the red wine and the simmering hours you get the Nigerian 🍅 stew..Posted one on my channel incase you curious 😉
Is it normal to eat noodles or pasta with beef stew? Where I'm from in England we add chopped potatoes and or suet dumplings as a carb.
Yes, it's normal. It's just another starch. Try it, you'll like it.
Those 48 dislike are vegans
More like beef mush.
Can u make a giant taco 🌮😩💖💖💖
Always open? Wrong cooking podcast
Where are all my NON red meat eaters at!! 🤗🤗🤗
Confined in a hospital or lying down in a coffin.
When they take the beef out of the pot and show how tender it is 👀🤤. But why put it on top of pasta? 🤔
They already uploaded this before lol milk the view buzzfeed
You people should make a season called “Making ur Food” or something like the viewers tell you a random dish to make.
Hi Tasty team, can you please do a Tasty 101 video of those savoury American style biscuits? I like them alot but I'm very intimidated because of the fact that everyone stresses the dough needs to be kept cold to be successful. I would appreciate it alot. Thanks!
Not to send you away from Tasty, but there are a ton of good biscuit recipes on TheXvid. Southern Living has a few classics, but there are many many more out there.
Kawaiilexia No problem, glad to help!
+mark030531 Hey thanks for your reply. I was referring to a type of pastry/bread which is made from flour, water, cold butter and a few other ingredients. They've been referred to as buttermilk biscuits. Thanks for your explanation. I'll search for a recipe and try to work up the courage to make them at some point. Cheers!
I don't know which biscuits you're referring to but constantly keeping dough cold is usually done because there's butter involved in the making of it. The French use it for croissants and it's also done for puff pastries. The reason why you need to keep it cold is to avoid having the butter melt while it's not part of the dough yet. It's not that hard but it IS tedious because of the waiting time for dough to reach the right temperature.
Rooster teeth uses this music. On their show Always Open
This is not how my mom makes it her way is so much simpler ;-;
You should rename your channel to *“Salty”*
Why they never wash the meat or just were im from wash them
Nope, aside from the fact that there's generally no good reason to wash beef, the FDA recommends not washing beef or poultry.
So you literally published this video with narration about braising beef a week ago. Could you at least wait more than a week before recycling content?
featheredskyblue You don’t need the word “literally” in your statement. Since we are being nit picky.
