  • This is so easy and delicious a perfect favor for a baby shower or wedding shower. Chocolate dipped pretzel rods dipped in chocolate is a snack that just about everyone loves.
Pretzels and chocolate are also very inexpensive and quick to prepare. The maid of honor can organize a small get together and make and package all the favors for the wedding in only a couple of hours.
Have some fun and let me know how everything goes.
    Bye the way congratulations!!

I made them purple, pink, white and blue. My party was unicorn themed and the little girls started calling them “unicorn horns” they were a great hit!!

Chocolate will melt when it is exposed to warm weather, heat of any kind. Keep the chocolate around 65 degrees. Thanks for your comment and for watching. Margie

I love dipping these pretzels. Fun and delicious. Do this with dark or milk chocolate and white chocolate and it would be awesome!!! then use the theme color in the bow. Thanks for watching and for the compliment. Margie

Should have put the opening/bow on the unfrosted part of the pretzel stick...easier to grab when pulling the pretzel out.....

    • Margie's It's No Secret Candies
Margie's It's No Secret Candies  9 months ago

That is a good option. Although I like the way the bow looks... But, I do that on my baskets. I tie the bow onto the basket with a little bow in the back That way the bow stays intact. Thanks for the ideas and thanks for watching. Margie

Seal these pretzels in the plastic bags so they are air tight and just keep in a cool place. A cool basement or the refrigerator. No need to freeze. They will keep a very long time, but best when used within a few weeks. Hope this helps.Margie

Miss Collins Collins I I do not really understand.
      I would not do that.
It would change the texture too much and I do not think people would get it.

The packaging comes from a place called Babcor in Pittsburgh.
It is a wholesale packaging company BUT these bags could be bought at probably all candy supply stores. In my area that would be K & B candies

Pretzel bags I bug from a bag supply store, Babcor in Pittsburgh, my representative is Larry. I buy Thousands at a time. The pretzel size is sort of unusual. Candy supply stores would have them. Margie

What is the little thing called you use to drizzle the icing? You used shortening the grease?

    • Margie's It's No Secret Candies
Margie's It's No Secret Candies  2 years ago

That is a parchment bag. But if you want use a sandwich size plastic bag and cut aa very, very small piece of the plastic off of one corner of the bag. OR just use a fork to drizzle. The bag creates a very even design. While using the fork creates a design more like the icing on a coffee cake.Margie
