  • This is so easy and delicious a perfect favor for a baby shower or wedding shower. Chocolate dipped pretzel rods dipped in chocolate is a snack that just about everyone loves.
Pretzels and chocolate are also very inexpensive and quick to prepare. The maid of honor can organize a small get together and make and package all the favors for the wedding in only a couple of hours.
Have some fun and let me know how everything goes.
    Bye the way congratulations!!

Chocolate will melt when it is exposed to warm weather, heat of any kind. Keep the chocolate around 65 degrees. Thanks for your comment and for watching. Margie

Should have put the opening/bow on the unfrosted part of the pretzel stick...easier to grab when pulling the pretzel out.....

    • Margie's It's No Secret Candies
Margie's It's No Secret Candies  6 months ago

That is a good option. Although I like the way the bow looks... But, I do that on my baskets. I tie the bow onto the basket with a little bow in the back That way the bow stays intact. Thanks for the ideas and thanks for watching. Margie

What is the little thing called you use to drizzle the icing? You used shortening the grease?

    • Margie's It's No Secret Candies
Margie's It's No Secret Candies  Year ago

That is a parchment bag. But if you want use a sandwich size plastic bag and cut aa very, very small piece of the plastic off of one corner of the bag. OR just use a fork to drizzle. The bag creates a very even design. While using the fork creates a design more like the icing on a coffee cake.Margie

Yes, I used chocolate chip cookies instead of pretzels (I can't find the large pretzels here in the UK) and used white and milk chocolate to decorate. They looked very pretty, I was quite impressed with results. I made about 2.5 kilo of cookies for 14 people and they've all all been eaten. After this Xmas I think everyone in the family has probably added a couple of inches to their waistlines lol. Thanks again for the uploading the brilliant vid! :D

Be sure that the chocolate that you use for the drizzle is also warm. This will help the chocolate to warm up the chocolate that was used on the pretzel, helping the drizzle adhere.
Thanks for watching and I hope that helped.
