How special is their friendship?!Watch the full episode here: bit.ly/2ChiKr8
Have you watched all episodes, they've talked about all golden oldies in both in positive and negative ways. As a social experiment I am finding it really interesting especially as they have reached halfway point and repeated some of the initial tests. But I do have to agree I find it sad when "Debbie downer's" do state the negative as it makes me remember that these are sadly people who may not be with us in a few years. I just hope that a lot of people watching this will be more considerate and spend a few minutes of there day talking to an elderly person so they don't feel so alone.
who the fuck was the Debbie downer at the end? Jesus Christ.
(Cries in without old people or babies in life)
This mad me cry
I can take it home. That melted my heart.
Lavinia is awesome
Phoenix is a big mood
I really need a job to take care of old people they are really so nice to be around with

I want to cry out of happiness
This is truly heartwarming. :)
Take a look at this lovely video of Christmas for different generations taken place in a residential home ❤️thexvid.com/video/KKSAJwQLH2g/video.html
She's so quiet and cute
Why oh why dont we have this in Denmark
When i was 19 my first job was in community care in London, i did the job for 18 years, in that time i met some truely wonderful people, it made me grow up very fast, as a wee lad fron N. Ireland it give me life skills and made me a far better person, many of the people i looked after where in there 70s 80s and 90s, every day was not the same and i loved to listen to all the old storys about what life was like in London back in the day, i still visit a nurseing home and even brought my dog for few years he brought such joy to the older people, so well done to channel 4 for this, i think its so important that children and older people do come togather and these kids will never for get this, with all the problems we face now with social care we need to look again how we look after our older folk.
Lavinia, such a gorgeous sweet lady!
As a care worker, I know how lonely elderly people can be. An old man once told me whenever you see old ppl walking, never hesitate to say hello.. good morning/good afternoon. They appreciate conversation so much more and you can make their day. They usually want to talk to ppl but afraid of being rejected or annoying someone.. so if you are a teen or an adult please make that little effort for our elderly people in the community, a smile and hi goes a very long way
@Batwoman Thank you for your beautiful words♡ I agree with you, if we can't change the world, at least we can change our own world with our own way. I also hope that there're more peole like you who care for the elders and less fortunate people 🤗
@A4 paper Aww.. :') that was very warm and kind of you to do I'm sure you made his day 🙌 Keep at it..you will soon be a pro and will be known as that nice person That always says hello and hi..and the world needs more people like that 🙌 Can't change the whole world but we can try to change our own world with the way we connect with people. Stay blessed x
You almost makes me cry. I just said sorta like "Hello" to one of the elder cleaner at my place and I can see how bright his smile after that. I hope I have a little more gut to initiate a small conversation with him. He'll be surely happy if I've done it :")
Lavinia looked like dakota fanning in the younger picture of herself
Did anyone else notice that Phoenix wasn't at the final graduation
Loved every minute of this series, please make more.
I'm actually going to cry.
0:30 so cute.
and with that last comment from the guy.. the video ends. Way to leave us hanging.
THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY @ WORK
I needed this
She sounds like salad fingers. :)
What a lovely little boy and an amazing lady
If that was an 81 year old man....
😂😂 I'd be the kid who put my own name on wall ahaha
Most love children I really wish they would bring this is care homes not dementia though as that's a whole new ball game of health and safety
If I had ovaries they would be aching right now
So sweet 💓
What a beautiful and lovely lady. Their bond is so sweet.
81 years old ''And I always remembered never put your own name up on the wall''Good lord I giggled as I pictured her at 65 looking at a pen and a wall, thinking to herself ''Restrain yourself.. Do not write your name..''
I swear this one of the best ideas. It's extreamly beautiful to see.
theyre both sooo cute!!
a great bond
this is so cute i’m going to cry
I love Lavinia, I wish I could write to her ❤️
Zeinab Ali I can pass on a message for her if you like She’s my nan
Katie Abbott Same
this is the most beautiful thing i've watched :')
Have her sit on the blue thing and someone can push her.
She reminds me of my Great Nanna, who is almost 90. Such a gem and still sharp as a tack. She’s a mother, nanna, great nanna and a “super nan” which is what our family has always referred to our great-great grandparents as, they’re super grandparents! Haha. I hope all the time that she’s still around when I decide to have my first child. She is incredible. But either way I’ll carry her legacy on, and her great grandchildren will always know how amazing her and my great grandfather were.
Awww that old lady is the cutest x
Oh lord, I wasn’t really for these tears 😭😭
lost my nanny only a week ago i miss her so much 😢
thats so sweet 😍

Well that was one of the loveliest things I’ve ever seen, utterly gorgeous 😭
This is such a special idea, it really is wonderfull. I was cheering for Lavinia getting across that lawn 👏🙌
Imagine if the genders were reversed. And women think they have it tough.....
Look up Mr. Dan and Nora. Their friendship is so precious. He's 83, little Nora is 4
What are you actually on about? Please do explain I’m really having trouble trying to understand exactly what it is you’re trying to say
Cakemonster147 it would still look very beautiful and cute. Don't be that one kid who always finds out something negative.
Whoever’s mum gran sister aunt this is should be so so god dam proud this lady without a doubt makes me want to live a better life she’s so determined an lush bless her heart ❤️❤️
Parkinson’s is a hard thing to go through, my late grandfather struggled with Parkinson’s disease and watching this brought a tear to my eye. Lotta love ❤️
This is sooo sweet!!!
Lavinia is beautiful!
This reminds me of a neighbor I had as a child. I would go nextdoor and help her pick radishes out of her garden and she would give my parents a couple of quarters for my help.
So beautiful. Brought a tear to my eye.
What a wonderful idea, it’s like 1+1 = 3, they get to benefit from each other being there and that’s just magical
I love this
i'm.. about to start crying. channel 4 better stop with these precious shows😭😭😭💕
My nan was so patient with me
Aww this is so lovely!! Xxxx
I had such a bond with my late nan, she was wonderful, this video reminded me of her. May her beautiful soul rest in peace - I utterly miss her!
I miss my Gran too. She died in '95 & I miss her every day. She was such an integral member of our family & lived with us for a long time when her physical health started to go. We tried to look after her when she developed Alzheimer's too but she became distressed. In the end we had to find her a home although it took us almost a year to find a good one for her. It was in the area she grew up so she knew nearly everybody there. She became reacquainted with an old lady who used to babysit my Mum.I wish I could she her once more to tell her how loved she was. I hope she knew. I can't remember if I told her as an adult.
