I don't know why they insist on calling it the bond/earth wire. It's 100% correct but I have only ever heard of it referred to as a Ground wire, and I'm about 10miles from CA. Odd word usage.

Come on you guys. Do most of your viewers really watch videos on their 18x9 phones? I really think not, but feel free to prove me wrong so that I can feel better about this offensive aspect ratio you are using. Don't jump on impractical trends just because everyone else has done it.

The reason why electricians don't carry hammers is they are pretty valueless 98% of the time. The Lineman's Pliers they use are quite hefty and durable and make a more than adequate hammer for the nearly all the "hammer tasks" they do. Nearly everything they do is screw/couple together or punch down, Really your paying a electricians for their knowledge and experience. It probably would have taken Brian 15min to do what it took Linus an hour to do and if Linus had not had any help it is likely the work he did would be a electrical and fire hazard.
Having worked as an electricians assistant in my younger days, I have the utmost respect for trade-skill workers!

The best joke was Origin opting for a sponser spot after the results of secret shopper, lol. I kinda give them points for it actually, I apreciate they are still willing to work with you as a brand after a fair and objective peice. And no ill will from me twords LMG cus you clearly aren't endorsing them, just running an ad, it's an opinion free ad piece, freely letting the viewer do their own research and deciding for themselves so hey why not, then again my timing is off, isn't it, this video was released prior to the conclusion of secret shopper, wasn't it ? In that case it's even more amusing to me.

You ought to have a tester for the ethernet. Even a simple SC8108 for around $25 will tell you that wire 5 and 6 is swapped and wire 7 is disconnected 1.5 from this end. Just plugging a device into the socket and the other end in switch does not ensure it is working fine; I 100Mb, couldn't go 1G until the tester showed me my patch cable was only using two pairs, not all 4.
If you are doing 10G, you ought to have a tester which shows impedance and reflections, otherwice you might be chasing around to find cables damaged by builders rodents or office chairs for days. They are more costly, but probably worth it in your environment where downtime costs money.
