Kevin had a scar not a black eye and it was from the jogger fighting back not a cops helmet lol. This is such bullshit. Even the confession tapes in this series are completely overblown and fake.

They should of had clarence thomas, michael brisco, lamont mcall and steve lopez in this scene and series. They were originally 9 teenagers between 13 to 17 years old that was charged with the crime. Nobody knew eachother except for yusef and korey. clarence and antron.

the movie is a work of fiction. People are reacting as if the whole thing were a verified video of the actual events. The director of a fictional movie based on actual events is free to make stuff up. You are sadly mistaken if you think watching a movie makes you an informed person.

    • NYCJoeBlack
      NYCJoeBlack 2 months ago

David Falstad - Films based on real events are not always going to be 100% accurate in terms of details, but I believe that they got the necessary facts straight.
The overall message the movie is trying to relay is the fact that those five boys were guilty in public eye for something they did not commit; Lies, manipulation, and scheming were the tools used to prosecute this young boys that were innocent of raping that woman in the park. Now, whether or not they were guilty of other crimes that happened in the park that day, such as robbery and harassment, I am still confused about.
There was a rush to judgment and that was the big issue being focused in the movie.

This show was just as amazing as it was devastating. It's awful these boys had to pay the price for someone else's crime smh. The acting however is phenomenal.

If he’ll is real. All the law enforcement and Linda fairstein the prosecutor everyone involved in the injustice of the case. Should go to hell and satan should shove his pitchfork in their gut and they all should feel it as their skin boils from the heat. They should then be forced to write apology letters. Every day write apology letters as their skin boils and the pitchfork wound never heals.

This was a phenomenal cast of characters especially the boys, their reenactment of all the pain and humiliation the now men and their families endured broke my heart. From the moment these boys were arrested they were condemned, vilified, guilty, no judge, or jury. Convicted by public opinion. And that Jharrel Jerome if they ever make a Justice for Junior movie. In my opinion he should be the chosen one to play Lessandro Feliz Guzman

Agreed. The real Fairstien is just as bad as the one depicted in the series. She wrote two opeds on NY Times, in response to When They See Us, insisting that the 5 are guilty and that Reyes was the sixth rapist. DNA and track evidence proved that there was only one perp, Matias Reyes, and Reyes always acted alone.
