+Technews In Canada, There was no Jim Crow Law. Majority of blacks in Canada came here as a refugee. But despite this, The blacks in Canada are still the group with the highest crimes rate per capita up until today. The same problems that the black community have in the US is still the same problems they have in Canada. Therefore it's hilarious that you always blame other people for the black community's problems because the truth is, The problem is actually them.

+Technews Search up "Storming Spain's Razor-Wire Fence: Europe Or Die" from the Vice News YT channel. Those are all uncivilized uneducated freeloaders. Guess where they came from? Africa! African continent is a mess. It has always been a mess. The African Americans who became slaves had a second chance in life because they would've died in Africa anyway.

    • iheartcanada22
      iheartcanada22 17 days ago

+Technews "there is socioeconomic injustice." Blacks have the highest crimes per capita in Australia, Canada, US, UK, and etc. Blacks have the highest rate in HIV. Blacks have the highest single parent rate. Black countries aka African countries have the lowest I.Q per capita. You're doing that all on your own. Stop blaming other people.

The difficult thing about history is that we are relying on the word or perceptions of those who lived at the time that can be very different from one another depending on their experience. Hard to really know what the truth is and what it is not. I would be curious to know what source material you used for this. My guess is that there are opposing viewpoints on just about every significant event in history. How are we ever to know the TRUTH. I’m not sure that there is a TRUTH apart from opinion and perception. Everyone has an agenda to push. Makes me suspicious of everything tbh. Just pondering. Thanks for the video. It was interesting.

In my family Thanksgiving is actually a religious holiday for us. For us it's a day to reflect on the year and to be grateful for all Christ has done for us. We spend the day with family reading our favourite verses and stories, talking about the best parts of our year, and spend quality time together. We share what we're thankful for and one way we have grown spiritually.

Two ignorant but opposite narratives don't make a truth. And when the later narrative is rooted in postmodernist, objective-truth disdaining, subjectivism-embracing methods and assumptions, it's even more suspect than the chauvinistic, naive original version.

I LOVED this video!! Being a US History teacher for 8th grade in Texas we cover Thanksgiving in Nov. and I told my students the REAL story, just as you did... and it BLEW THEIR MINDS. I had several telling me once we got back to school that they told their parents the real story of Thanksgiving and that it was interesting to have my students reiterate history, being that sometimes it could be boring. The story of Thanksgiving is in fact a tragic one and one that goes untold all too often. I would so appreciate more History videos! only if you could make it student friendly LOL!! Help a teacher out! Love your videos!! they keep me entertained and relaxed after a rough day with the kids!

A few weeks ago, I attended a pow wow. The energy was amazing there. It was very nice seeing that their culture is still strong and alive (The little ones were adorable in their outfits). Natives who see this, keep fighting for your culture, traditions, and language. Especially the younger generations, keep wanting to learn, do not lose your roots. It broke my heart when I met a Native man who told us how his daughter grew up learning the language but didn't want to speak it anymore because it wasn't "the thread" at her school.

Well, if you guys love this read about “ John Hanson - A man of moor ( also known as the first black president ) “ He’s on the back of the $2 bill that’s why it was cancelled and they stopped having them. - The White House was “ Black “ 2 times and white people bombed it because it was black- Read about the original “ Lady Liberty “ she was black also. There’s a lot of history that have been changed and washed up. Also presidents used to rape slaves. Ugh! Sick world!

I remember being a kid and we had to dress as a native American or pilgrim for our school thanksgiving dinner and my Mexican and native American mother went all out decorating my gear like it was real life. She told me the truth about what really happened. I was the only one dressed up as a native everyone else was pilgrims which is surprising cause I grew up in San Diego. I remember as a kid I felt kinda dumb, now I'm proud as fuck i represented my culture. I am also a mayflower descendant and Armenian on my father's side. I'm sad my English ancestors were so invasive and cruel. But I wouldn't have been born if not so I try and forgive but never forget what really happened. Now I celebrate indigenous day, fuck Columbus. Thanksgiving is now a day of gratitude and honoring fall equinox.

  • zack zackson

There was violence on both sides. Many natives, far more than English settlers, participated in the massacre as well. The Mohegan and Narragansett were enemies of the Pequots and requested the English help them defeat their enemies. Every people has done horrible things and great things throughout history. History is not black and white. We shouldn’t lay all the blame on one group of people or ignore the atrocities committed by others. Try to get both sides of the story. Don’t use one sided sources. That being said I love most of your other videos tho!
