Wheres the KX250???? I refuse to call a 4 strokes a KX without the F attached to it. Stop disrespecting the more badass, discontinued 2 strokes by calling this thing a KX250. A real KX250 whoops this things ass engine wise easily. Power isn't even compatible... well its actually torque numbers that are way higher in 2 strokes but we'll call it power

  • Tepco Cycle Repair

Stop calling it a KX250 when it's actually a KX250F it's like click bait for us 2 stroke lovers! Got me again..

In 2019 they already change the model to kx instead of kxf because according to kawasaki most of the bike model is four stroke already. So there is no need to put "f" in the model.

The title is misleading. Make sure to put the 250f there. Kx250 2 Stroke is a beast. 250f is for the birds

    • fred savage
      fred savage 2 months ago

@Michael Meykens that's great im a kawi guy myself. I own 3 kawi 2 strokes and a cr500. 4 strokes are just too easy to ride they're not fun to ride or challenging to ride. They're fast and get traction but that's all without rider skill. I've never owned a 4 stroke but rode plenty of time them and they're just not for me. 2 strokes rip they scream they spin they wheelie at the worst times they're lighter better handling require clutching body position and throttle control to execute anything. Just WAY more fun to ride a 2 stroke

    • Michael Meykens
      Michael Meykens 2 months ago

fred savage I love the 2 strokes as well. In fact, I bought a new 1999 KX 250 back in the day and have very found memories of riding and racing that bike. My youngest son has a few years of 125 two stroke under his belt now and we made the step to the Kawi 250. 20 years after my 1999 KX 250 my Son now rides a KX 250 fourstroke. Never thought that old 4 stroke technology would Make a comeback but I have to admit the new Kawi 250s are again good bikes!

Too me it really needed an electric start. there's been way to many times Pro Circuit guy's have accident's or their bikes shitting out on them and them having to kick the shit out of it to start it. And Grant can still rip it up, I love watching him ride.

KTM loves to boast about having the most hp, but a lot of times it is only the most powerful on the dyno. This is the case for the 450. It isnt the most powerful when it comes to actual riding

@JDC91 They might sell more if they put more R&D into it because it makes zero sence to buy a new one when you can buy a badass, tricked out used one for less????? And it's a better bike with the upgrades than the overpriced new 13yr stagnant model

    • Jordan Winter

@JDC91 (at least they still make the darned thing)

    • JDC91
      JDC91 2 months ago +1

@Horsepower House why do you think yamaha haven't put any money into developing the yz 250? Because they don't sell as many, people are more inclined to buy a second hand 2 stroke because there so cheap to rebuild and can last forever, the four-stroke market on the other hand is the opposite, your only ever safe buying a new four-stroke or extremely low hour, otherwise you risk a hefty mechanic bill, the facts are there four-strokes make the manufacturers a lot of money every kid wants the bike there favourite pro rides, it's all business.

    • Kevin Vandusen

IvicaKX450 They should have said a revised bore and stroke (it’s a bigger bore with a shorter stroke ) makes for a quicker revving motor ..ie bit more top end with the other minor internal changes and 1 mm bigger TB.

    • Rusty Taflinger

      Priv Pers 2 months ago

@stellastarr69 Read Papa308's comment again, jackass. His recommendation was no background music, as he preferred the narration and engine sounds. The music sucks; not for the musical selection; but, because it exists in the video at all. If one wanted to listen to music, they would (as you recommend) go listen to music. This is a motorcycle review. Would like to hear the comments and bike sounds without all the background noise. So many youtube channels fail in their delivery due to this issue.

    • stellastarr69
      stellastarr69 2 months ago

Oh my God the music isn't that bad! If it bothers you that much, go listen to some shitty rap music that you probably already listen to anyway. Douche bag!
