Texas Rangers! Love your work Alec!
Well good mate!
You should make ‘Steele’ toed clogs by forming a sheet Steele cap over the toe! (Safety first!)
Mmmmm, pulling the bottle seal. Always makes me smile when I pop a fresh bottle of ArgonNot so much with the ferromaxx though, I'm not keen on MIGing
I would love to know what song you used.
For the life of me I can not find those scotch brite buffing wheels anywhere
Found it, lol
Super misleading title!!!! I was expecting to see a guy with a hammer for a hand!!!
We don't have proper fish & chips here in the USA so on one of your fabulous luncheons, do show us what the real thing looks like. OK, so you can skip the Guinness stout and the Newcastle ale, on account of your needing to go back to work. But while your're eating, don't mind my writhingly screwed up face, as I pant it total jealousy.
Love the hat!
What do you do with all the hammers?
There's no such thing as a sugar crash, lol
ok so I see cowboy boots and wranglers. but you have a tx rangers hat 😑😑 you let me know if you need me to send you a Houston Astros hat 😆love the videos by the way. keep it going!!
The Casey Niestat of Blacksmithing
Are all your friends called Sam?
Gotta clean your glasses mate
make a damascus recurve bow
19 years old? VERY cool! Nice work.
Alec, do you have a website so we can purchase some of your work?
your like the Austin Powers of blacksmithing lol you should go on Forged in fire!
loving the hat man! Do you have a p.o. box?
Like the way your mate stood back and watched you load your oxy bottle.
Great work but what poor fellow cleans yer shope??!!
Alec, What is the type of steel used in forging hammers?
9:25.... Hammer time???
That's cute. You used a cart to carry your oxygen bottle out the door. Now try carrying that same size bottle down 10 flights of stairs. And then full back up. Lmao. I DARE YOU
Texas or UK Alex?
So I subbed. Would appreciate it if you put the tunes names in the description. Great videos.
I do paving, eating in the extreme heat 101 breakfast = fasting, lunch = protein mostly in the form of chicken for me at least. carbs come in either baked sweet potatoes or baked potato wedges. bland yup but feeling sick is no fun things are dangerous enough no need to feel sick becuase you decided to eat some chips.
what's your price for a hammer
Nice tyedye van @8:12 pretty groovy.... 😂
I am really curious if due to You being right handed and using hammers with Your right hand only, do You suffer from disproportion of Your arm? Saying short, could You flex Your upper parts a little so we all can see how does this amount of lifting and smashing a hammers affects Your body built 💪?
Get yourself a spoke shave man
After hours of watching your videos I realised we are living in the same city. What a surprise. Great job.
Your steering wheels one the wrong side brother
you ever thought about forging your own spokes shave and using it on the handles for fitting and finish. I have found that my handles tend to have a much better feel with a spokes shave than with just sanding and grinding.
Is there a place I can order some of your hammers, I would love to buy a set..!!
I would also like to get a hammer from you.
So what does a guy have to do to get a two pound rounding hammer from you. I mean can I order one, and would it be reasonable to ship to The States? I could get one from the farrier shop I get my other tools from, but I like your style and it would be cool owning and using something you made.
I'm so fucking jealous. there isn't any blacksmiths in the south of England and you found a workshop full of 'em!
Not found, made.
Ever thought of using a spokeshave instead of a sander to shape the handles? No dust and no noise.
take Sunday off mate
Is that an Ford F-150 you're driving? I didn't know they sold those over there.
Ford ranger super cab
Ok, excellent work, informative, entertaining, but i see boots and Wranglers and US and Texas stuff and your from UK. Very cool but whats up with that? Lol just curious
I kinda wish you had a tshirt where your hair and head is a silhouette and it's like a patch somewhere on the shirt. so good lol
Do you pay Sam?
Just a tip for editing; it's good to make sure that the music is not significantly louder than the dialogue. Dynamic range compression means you don't have to adjust it manually.Really enjoying your presentation though!
I hate it when the music is louder than the blacksmithing and Alec talking combined. >:(
You seem to have a liking for the United States. You make the flag from steel. You have a Texas bumper sticker. Just move here.
I'm no expert but couldn't you re-weld or cut off the bad part and make a skinner??? I'm a newer subscriber that just watched your great VID!
pickle juice is good for muscle cramps also
I wish you could see Van Tuyl and Fairbank Hardware in Petrolia Ontario Canada. I believe they are the best steel supply around. Still have dirt floor and date back to the discovery of oil in Canada. Still going strong!
7:00 Warrriors... come out to plaaaaaaay
I wonder how many people got that reference?
just curious why you are such a huge Texas fan?
Reagan that's where he studied blacksmithing
If you don't eat carbs at all or at least eat complex carbs, you will have 10x the energy and feel way better, eat a lot of veggies protein and good fats
If you do increase the amount of protein you eat on hot days just remember that you'll have to drink more water as well because protein takes more water to digest; which can be an issue on hot days doing hard work. Seeing someone with heat-injury is ugly, stay safe
Ha ha ha ha, when you get a little older you'll be like, Damn it's 3:30 p.m. let's get ready to go home !!! and it will still be 5:00 p.m. before you leave !!!
I've got to get one of your hammers Alec. What's it take to get one here to Texas?
watching from Texas as well and wondering the same
Alec, you're awesome and I love your stuff! The amount of work you put in is awesome and it really shows. I bet the amount of editing and things you do off camera is insane as well. Keep up the good work. You're great!
Is that a texas flag bumper sticker at 4:35 ? Looks like it. I see the UK license plate so was curious.
he did his apprenticeship, or at least learned a lot/spent some time w/ a smith in TX
There is also a TX flag in his shop in some videos
I do believe it is. it confused me.
Do you own everything there?
is it possible to buy your stuff online. I would really love one of your Damascus war hammers. It's the tits. you rock!!!
You forgot your Dolly at the steel supply.
hey Alex great vids! when you quench the hammers how do you temper them? i know how but just nosie about your method! have you spent some time in the U.S? dang those cowboy boots!
I don't usually enjoy things from England, because I'd have to enjoy myself and that's just not very English, but this channel is awesome.
+Louise Charlesworth hahaha! Brilliant 😂😂😂😂
There is no such thing as "spaghetti bolognese", remember that
Carlo Danese You can buy it in in England :)
where can I buy one?
love your videos, but the music is way too overpowering. I'm constantly turning the volume up and down so I can hear what you say and so that I don't disturb others in my house.
wow! first time i seen someone apologise for being rude on youtube! im taking a screen shot
Yes, I thought his apology to me was a very classy thing to do. I respect that. Perhaps we can keep the "nice" going. The world can use it.
That was the quickest and nicest dispute I have seen on the internet.
Kenneth McArthur you're right I apologise I'm sorry as ND that was uncalled-for
he stays so positive it's contagious
hi my name is Greg new sub how much r your hammers
I thought he said, "I weld good with meat".
what's with the Texas flag and bumper sticker
Texas is great!
The reason for the wow comment was I finally got my account fixed so I could comment...... so happy, and now I don't have anything to say other than love your videos.
você é um artista um verdadeiro artesão parabéns
Alec you are the greatest! I've just recently found your videos, and I absolutely love watching each one. What I like most is your attitude and your creativity! I hope one day to forge some items with you! Carry on with the good work! P.S. Your cowboy boots are great!
gotta say i just "discovered" you, and i am impressed. in the process of building my own forge and your vids are an awesome resource. thank you
Hey Alec I got to ask you since you went and got some oxygen, do you use any acetylene or transport acetylene tanks with the same car? They should always be kept upright and never laid horizontally :) Just a heads up for the future so we can see more forging videos :D
+eamh2002 only use propane!
Love the hat, favorite baseball team
im sure you have already been asked this, but as a texan i cant help but notice your texas keepsakes. do you have family from here? or?
xALLSTARx00 he studied blacksmithing in Texas
Best blacksmithing videos on TheXvid. Fun to watch, always in a stellar mood, quick vids so, I can watch whenever I've got a few minutes... excellent!
See YOU tommorow, Thanks Alec...
Alec maybe this is a stupid question but why do you use torch to harden the hammers instead of forge? thanks, Larry
where is the best steel supplyer in the world what's the name?
how much are your hammers
great video Bob!
thank you for confirmation that I kick ass as I do all that by hand myself. thought for a quick minute I was slacking.
hey! what happened to the confederate battle flag you had hanging on the wall???
what kind of steel do you use?
what wood do you recommend for a hammer handle?
Ash, hickory and oak are good choices, but it's not super critical, sapwood is better, though, apparently.
Clog's!! wear them every day ;')
if you ever need clumps give me a call! I live in Holland so yeah :) great video!
What kind of grinder was that you have outside
change of assistants Alec lol ?
Alec, love your show! always great to see what you,re working on. what is the name of the song you use on this video? i could really swing a hammer to that!
Hello, here to see you a lot of video, it is very good, very helpful for me, thank you very much.
great Video, what wood did you use for the handles, I hope it was ash. keep up the video's
