I feel like this is a good thing for stunts that carry a high risk of death. But for stunts that can be done by a human relatively safely they should continue to use human stunt doubles!

I don’t know what you all are complaining about. When we can transplant our minds into machines in the future, then you’ll be an invulnerable stunt double.

I prefer human bodies looking for the capabilities of the limits.. A robot is not so spectacular at all.. Folks applauding a robot are dumb as hell.

They came for the truckers(jobs), and I said nothing.
They came for the fast food workers(jobs) and I said nothing.
They came for the line workers(jobs) and I said nothing.
They came for the stunt doubles(jobs) and there was no one to speak for us.

You guys focus too much on the human look of this robot but it's more like a washing machine, it spins, and does or or two more tricks that's it, no thinking involved.
you should really be worry about those sofware AI's like that league of legends AI who in two weeks gained human life times of experience by competing against it's self, unbeatable by humans. now the scary part is what could it do in an actual life time of experience?

I don't think these are intended to replace stunt dobles, but to test stunts before letting the real stunt doubles do the stunts. So ir might actually crear more options forma them.

We all think we could fight a Terminator but when u see how they would really move, perfect balance, perfect movement, accurate, speed... the first robot cop and robot soldier is going to be terrifying... very reminiscent of Cylons from Battlestar and Caprica.

It’s interesting but it probably won’t take off.
    1) it’s probably going to be really expensive
2)it would probably be cheaper just to hire a stunt double
3)it would put a lot of people out of a job
