Man i loved the original Save the World concept. Kinda sucks that they never made it free so more people could play it.
Most of the fortnite players have spend more money on the br skins/bp than the price of save the world itself in their gaming life on fortnite... If they really want stw they can just buy it! + The game used to give players a ton of free vbucks, at least if you bought stw berfore the official update of fortnite

It truly amazing how far Fortnite has come. Originally a story-ish mode, now a world-renowned battle royale game that’s taken the gaming industry by storm (pun intended)
I really hope we see a return of the jinx skin and when arcane 2 releases in a few years I’d love to see more skins. I think riot is so correct in giving us these characters in other games when they can recognise how complicated Lol truly is

What they could do is adding Real bases that you Can build, deffend, and add stuff over Time by being able to survive,go to expedition wich would then be the basic save the World missions, bringing the saved survivors into THAT base, a Real survival game, they litterally have all the assets to do this! I don't Care about protecting a stormshield from survivors I don't even see living.
I stopped playing after the game became Marvelnight, but these videos are still fun to watch.

Wish Save the World got a bit more love? I miss the Beta Storm missions. Testing to see what works and what doesn't with player feedback to the devs. That and the continuation of the story line/campaign.

The reason why that is not the case anymore is BECAUSE the game has gotten so big. even the smallest update is difficult to do.

The tornado needs a buff it doesn't feel like a fo to be reckoned with.
@FandomTOBY To be fair, I WAS surprised that the things flying around the tornado didn't do any damage. I'd think being hit by those should *ATLEAST* do like, 5 - 10 damage, no more. Similiar to the Lightning storms.
It wouldn't make you run away from a tornado, but it would atleast make you a bit more careful around them.

Plus wouldn't you be complaining more if the tornado started to instant kill you if you were to hit one of the items it has sucked up (like hitting the item a player has sucked up with the beam from the ufos), or when it starts to go away and drops everything, including you, you'd take fall damage and die?
They even wrote about it as, and I quote: *"If you see a tornado start to form, that’s no signal to flee. Instead, run into it as a swirling escape strategy! You’ll spin round and round ‘til you choose to glide to safety - or if you stay spinning long enough - ‘til the twister spits you out. Don’t worry: you won’t take fall damage if you get hurled."*
Same with the thunderstorms! *"If you see a dark cloud start to form, that’s not necessarily a signal to flee either. Sure, the lightning from it deals a small amount of damage (and sets the surrounding area on fire) but the power of its shock gives players a temporary speed boost."*

I'd rather have a cool lookin thing that destroys buildings and anything else it touches and goes around on the island in real time while also being a fun way to rotate into zone if you happen to be nearby the tornado
Than die if you touch any of the things it sucked up, take any amount of damage when near or in it (which would make it a thing to avoid like irl, yes, but then there is no point for it to be in the game if every single player is just gonna avoid it and never interact with it. people would complain about it even more and it would likely get changed to something friendlier (as in; it would probably get turned into the tornado it is now) or it would get removed and the people who liked it would then complain instead (like what they did with the guided missile for example)

It's not meant to be, The tornado isn't meant to be a threat, more of a utility/ movement thing. Neither is the lightning storm, they aren't designed to be deadly or dangerous as much as an unpredictable utility thing.

It’s funny to see fortnite from it’s early form, genuinely being inspired by other games like Minecraft, and you look at it now it’s a huge night and day difference
Fortnite has come so far and the storyline of Fortnite is so good and both endings of both chapters were really good and with the island flipping that was really cool and we didn't even need a black hole to get to the chapter 3 island just the island flipping on it's other side
Ah, good times when fortnite was just safe the world.
And then random updates for battle royale
But I still would be happy if they added more updates once in a while for safe the world
@Sinsir Since I can't play STW or find any good letsplay videos or even just a Storyline Explained video on it, I don't know about it's community. And maybe I'm not being clear on my point but I was trying to say that while Epic not updating STW certainly helped drive off it's remaining players, Epic didn't updated it or add anymore content to it *BECAUSE* it wasn't nearly as popular as BR is.
BR got way more popular at the start than Save The World, so they started doing Battle Royale updates more than Save The World, and when STW slowly got less and less popular, Epic also did less and less updates. So, what I'm trying to say is that if people want Epic to update Save the World, you also have to prove that it's worth going through the effort of updating it by making Save the World popular again.
@Epic Galaxy while i don't disagree, I wouldn't pin all the blame on Epic. The STW community is a shithole at times woth people constantly looking to trade or scam people. Times I go into a game and I'm boxed in constantly for like 5mins straight because want my Shadow Weapons. I remember the global chat for the longest time just being bombarded with people only wanting to trade. The community itself has led its downfall to a degree as well. Again though, yes epic has played a huge part in its decline over the years. I find it hard to want to keep playing it when they simply don't care enough to update it. Even a simple little quest storyline or a new mode would be amazing. Dungeons was probably their last decent update and it was really fun imo, so it shows that they can still make good content they're just choosing not to and it's pretty sad

So I went from season 4 to ch3s1 doing nothing, and I have decided to only use my black vector outfit.
What I've realized is the game has gotten... Too serious? No boogie bombs, no bushes... Hell no traps.
I was never much for being serious. I liked the idea of dancing at tilted while dodging bullets. But ah well. I'll just bring friends in to get the giggles.

2018 FN was amazing, but it quickly went down hill, with cross play with PC and it became infested by sweatys.
fortnite really went off the rails. it is sad that the game gets so much hate because it really does not deserve most of it. the game also did stop being as much fun as it used to be, but i think chapter three will add a lot of really cool and original ideas.

@Epic Galaxy I was just saying that it's OG status kind of puts it on a pedestal, and that status carries the hype all by itself. Like your last line about seeing something from Fortnite's history, that probably applies to a lot of new players while a lot of OG get to see a location that might be more nostalgic than anything else.
If Tilted Towers was released today with no prior iterations, and no OG status, it probably wouldn't be so popular. In fact, I think the Daily Bugle would be more popular just being a Marvel POI lol
@Taqresu I got that part about it being the first City POI, yeah it is and that made it special BACK THEN. But we've gotten so many bigger and better and generally more interesting POIs that I don't see why exactly Tilted Towers of all places, a generic city poi is the one people would want the most.
Especially since in the time between Tilted Towers last seen appearance and it's return soon, the game and playerbase has evolved a lot. Just like anything else OG, if it comes back now it will not be the same as it once was, regardless of what Epic does.
But hey, atleast I get to see a part of Fortnite History...
@Epic Galaxy Well, when it first came out, it was the first City POI. I don't remember if Retail Row or Pleasant Park were around yet, but Tilted Towers was the biggest POI at the time, and the POI with the most loot.
When bigger and better POIs came out later on, Tilted Towers kind of earned the OG stamp of approval, so to speak. That's why people love it and miss it, despite it being a generic city. I personally avoided it like the plague because large chunks of the Lobby die there a lot. I think the least popular iteration of Tilted Towers is Tilted Town in Season X, because it was a no build zone.

Blow up - new mode, no buildings, scavenge and hiding behind trees, rocks. (No one built back in the day)
Around 2019 - fans dropped off a little bit but was still a decent game
2020 - children all around. And game is ruined
2021-2022 - og players return and game is not as bad
Imagine how you would feel if you put 6 years of your life into a complex survival style game only for nobody to play it and instead play a free pubg ripoff
