Everything GREAT About Iron Man 3!

  • Published on Oct 22, 2017
  • Ragnarok is coming. You guys sensing a pattern? Iron Man 3 was loved by many and also despised as the worst thing to ever happen to comic books by others. I liked it. Here's everything right with Iron Man 3.

I liked your views on this, but I disagree on one point. I didn't like the Mandarin because he wasn't in this movie. When they first announced him, I wasn't sure it wasn't a misstep to use what was basically a magic based villain (those his rings are actually alien technology). Aldrich Killian was established as a business man/villain in Iron Man, and there are plenty of terrorist in Marvel Comics, so my problem was with them using the name 'Madarin' as nothing but a Red Herring. The one thing I will admit is that this did make a much better bait and switch for comics fans at least, since Mandarin is a name a lot more people would recognize as a villain, rather than some old, third rate villain or a generic terrorist name. Still, my being offended was definitely not because of the look.

I liked the continuity about that Tony is eating veggies at the burger place. Like the green smoothie he was drinking in the other movies.

“I’m not going to defend anyone who built rockets for the Nazis, even if NASA later hired him” So by your logic Abraham Erskine is evil? You do know MANY of the Nazis were FORCED into submission, and all you can do is dismiss a WHOLE people as evil because of their past? That is cruel!

I mean, who said Tony didn't get PTSD from his time in the cave? That's what set him to make the Ironman suits in the first place.

I've watched this movie recently and I loved it (AK gave several good reasons why). Showing that the events of The Avengers had a psychological effects on Tony was a great surprise. My favorite scene might have been when he took down The Mandarin's goons without any help from his suit. Like he said at the end, he IS Iron Man, suit or no suit. I wish there was (were ?) more Iron Man movies but this one is a good conclusion.

I also love this channel and video. I disagree, however, that what happened in the Iron Man movies is Tony's fault. Especially not the second one that had to do with his father, not him, supposedly betraying a colleague (and, as we learned, Ivan's father was twisting the truth anyway). The closest you get to Tony being responsible for the vilain's creation is in this one. But even then, Killian is an adult with free will that decided to go on full-blown supervilain. Being stood up by someone who was once a big jerk isn't an excuse for killing people is what I'm saying. Lastly, Ultron was Tony, Bruce, Wanda and the Mind Stone's fault, not just Tony's. Wish the movies and fandom would stop forgetting that.

I like most of this movie I really do it's fun. The only thing I don't like about it is the extremists or whatever they're called are too tough. The Iron Man suits should have literally ripped them apart faster than they could heal.

Iron Man's My Mom's favorite Avenger.
I think he's a great character too because he's not a typical Hero.
He became a good guy overtime.
He went from spoiled little rich boy to grateful man.
    And fuck endgame.

I know everyone is saying this, but I LOVED Iron Man 3.
I don't think it's as good as Iron Man 1, but it's surrounded by so many amazing movies, that people just assume it's bad. The very beginning confused me in a good way. That song was perfect.

    • Silent
      Silent 3 months ago

Agreed. Iron Man 3 may be flawed and regularly overshadowed by other MCU movies, but that doesn't mean it can't still be a perfectly decent and enjoyable movie. I love the Mandarin twist and that the movie forces Tony to use his wits in place of his armours, instead of just doing what everyone was expecting them to do.
