This watches like a documentary. Unbelievable quality to the film (and the house!), and it's great to see your perseverance and hard work paying off.

I am an architect in my 50's and this video is impacting and educating me. I know many famous architectures all around the world, but I have never seen a documentary that narrates stories so well and so detailed that viewers can imagine a vivid life inside this piece of architecture. My atmost respect to your talent, passion and hardworking.

The triangular cell of the roof structure covers much larger span. It makes most of the space column free, which brings the green and views into the interior space without barriers. You don’t see it normally in residential. It’s Phenomenal!

Architecture, art, passion, fame, money, inspiration, concrete, steel and wood all fit into one house. I watched with my mouth open. It was amazing. We live in small bugs inside concrete buildings. But some people live really good lives. In this life, some are slaves, some are masters. No democracy could change that.

Love everything about it. I am a designer and work in custom remodeling. I have never seen a house that I don't have design, style and material critiques. Not that they did a bad job necessarily but just personal opinion and likes. I don't have 1 , not one thing I would change

Since there are lot of outer walls made of glasses (more transparent) & more greens around, there are possibilities that birds might accidentally hit the walls and get injured (or die) .. so, it would be better to have tinted glass (or other options to prevent the birds hitting the glass walls).

Great documentary on this incredible iconic home. I love clean lines and contemporary modern designs, however, I don't particularly care for the main living area. To me, the main living area lacks warmth and the sofa's chosen remind me of a hotel lobby or waiting area at an airport. Way too much cement as well. That's just my personal opinion though, everyone has their own tastes.

Desde lo más simple, como es la limpieza (sobre todo, de los cristales y el polvo que se acumula en todos los agujeros de las paredes de hormigón y el suelo de cemento), hasta lo más fundamental, que es tener todo un equipo completo de obra, para ir reparando grietas y goteras que diariamente debe aparecer.
ES LA TÍPICA CASA PARA FOTOS, ANUNCIOS y PELÍCULAS (o este fantástico VÍDEO), pero imposible vivir en ellas...como si fuera un hogar acogedor :
-¿Quién cocina a gusto un buen entrecot, en unos fogones rodeados de marcos de fotos, salpicándose de aceite?.
-¿Quién juega al tenis sabiendo que te quedarás sin pelotas antes de acabar un set porque se van a perder al caerse, por el borde del campo, sin una red que las retenga dentro. Eso sí, al acabarse las bolas, NO el partido, tienes unas buenas vistas, para decidir con cervezas, quien a perdido el partido y le toca pagarlas.
-En días de tormenta, ¿quién quiere pasar de estancia a estancia mojándose por los pasillos sin techos?.
-Si tienes hijos pequeños, ¿Quién está tranquilo, dejándolos jugar en las terrazas sin barandillas, ni muros en los bordes?.

The amazing Sheats Goldstein Residence, a wonderful John Lautner that I have been patiently waiting to see in more detail….thanks to Mr Goldstein and you for making such a beautiful creation so accessible for someone whom loves all of the Lautner designs. This brought me to tears to watch…how concrete could be made so full of warmth and light, while the beautiful wood is the moderating factor; such a juxtaposition of structural textures. This building is a gorgeous fairytale brought to life. I have always wanted to be close enough to touch a Lautner, however even though I’ll never be lucky enough to do that, I feel for just a moment I was there, surrounded by the mastery and emotion that is this magnificent home. Thank you.
