@Bretty Eleven No me creo lo de los pintores, porque entonces la madera, ¿no tiene ningún tipo de tratamiento?.
Pues entonces, más a mi favor que esta casa es inevitable que acabe enguñida por la vegetación.

I am an architect in my 50's and this video is impacting and educating me. I know many famous architectures all around the world, but I have never seen a documentary that narrates stories so well and so detailed that viewers can imagine a vivid life inside this piece of architecture. My atmost respect to your talent, passion and hardworking.

The videography, stunning. Mikey & the team are really outdoing themselves video after video.
The history lesson, so carefully crafted. All the old pictures, the clips and music, talking with Mr. Goldstein, I can't imagine how long this video spent in post production. But it's incredible, definitely one I'll come back to in future.
The house itself is an art piece!
And also, Enes, your suit looks great. I didn't miss that you dressed up extra for this one 😉😊

Valid point, but a life lived without Jesus Christ is worthless. The owner seems quite “self-obsessed”, and It’s not obvious that he has any family to leave this home to. The only truly interesting thing about the Mega-wealthy is 1) how much of a philanthropist they are, 2) what have they endowed to others, and 3) how have they benefited Humanity as a whole? Which brings us back to Jesus, an man who started with 12 disciples, now has an estimated 2.38 Billion who believe in him of the world’s just over 7 Billion. But it’s easy when you’re God. Just sad how many don’t.

Idk why but for some reason I'm literally crying and sobbing my heart out from the moment I saw the seating room at the main floor. As an aspiring architect this is really so astonishing, this house is the most beautiful home I've ever seen in my whole existence. Salute to you sir for giving all your heart and mind into making this house.... Your passion in architecture is so inspiring. I wish to be like you too, I want to also make such amazing buildings in the future. You will forever be one of the few people I will look up and really respect to in terms of architecture. Architecture, art, passion, fame, money, inspiration, concrete, steel and wood all fit into one house. I watched with my mouth open. It was amazing. @Sheeplehunter @Sheeplehunter No hun, its not my "opinion", its a blunt translation, taken in accout Russian internet mentality. I dont think that you know even a little bit of the language to try and contrapose something against what I've said, as it is my mother tongue.
Now your triggering by the word "Jew", and mr. Goldstein obviously having a Jewish name, and you noticing his "arrogance" and "materialism", just proves my statement regarding jealousy of the famous Jewish stereotype of being rich. You also have used the famous antisemitic conspiracy that "you can't talk bad about Jews online, because it gets deleted". And also obvious antisemitic aggression that you clevery try to hide while naming a home to a Jew, a "gas chamber".
Now listen to me well... Before you attempt to answer this, try to formulate your answer correcty, so it will not look as another antisemitic blabbery.
I will let it go for now, unless you are foolish enough to continue your rant. Then I will be obliged to report your comment for Google inc. review.

    • Sheeplehunter
      Sheeplehunter 3 months ago

@Kristodian Brizinskiy Whether a comment is either a joke or a result of jealousy is only your opinion. it's arrogant to assume you know each persons' thoughts and/or motivations. Plus, unless they were deleted nobody said "Jews", so based on your last name you're just paranoid anytime you see people are pointing out the arrogance and materialism of another. All that concrete does make it feel cold and lifeless, more like a gas chamber than a home.

Awesome property and appreciate the presentation effort ! .. Since there are lot of outer walls made of glasses (more transparent) & more greens around, there are possibilities that birds might accidentally hit the walls and get injured (or die) .. so, it would be better to have tinted glass (or other options to prevent the birds hitting the glass walls).

Probly one of your best videos so far. Even though I'm not keen on concrete this is definitely a cool unique property...even more so when you factor in the time period it was built and designed.

Great documentary on this incredible iconic home. I love clean lines and contemporary modern designs, however, I don't particularly care for the main living area. To me, the main living area lacks warmth and the sofa's chosen remind me of a hotel lobby or waiting area at an airport. Way too much cement as well. That's just my personal opinion though, everyone has their own tastes.

Thank you gentlemen, this is exactly what I was hoping to see from you: a thorough treatment of an amazing and iconic mid century masterpiece, and one of my favorite architects at that! Utterly superb, and so glad to see you both not just at the top of your game but taking the "real estate house tour" genre in fabulous new directions. I'm super excited to see more like this in the near future from you and your team.

Totally awesome. I’m left with a curiosity regarding … how the heck can one person have the income, money, to use on such a visionary project. Anyway, the video/showing of, was impressive, to say the least 👍🏼

The amazing Sheats Goldstein Residence, a wonderful John Lautner that I have been patiently waiting to see in more detail….thanks to Mr Goldstein and you for making such a beautiful creation so accessible for someone whom loves all of the Lautner designs. This brought me to tears to watch…how concrete could be made so full of warmth and light, while the beautiful wood is the moderating factor; such a juxtaposition of structural textures. This building is a gorgeous fairytale brought to life. I have always wanted to be close enough to touch a Lautner, however even though I’ll never be lucky enough to do that, I feel for just a moment I was there, surrounded by the mastery and emotion that is this magnificent home. Thank you.

I watch TheXvid on my tv these days so I can’t leave comments like I used to, but this video left me thinking about it for days afterwards. This video is the best one of yours I’ve seen so far, you guys took the production of this one to the next level and I really enjoyed hearing Mr. Goldstein’s passion for the property as well as his life. Well done Enes and Michael!
