What an actor! The best of the best"s.
Each time when I'm desperate and sad and am in need to see how the real human kindness looks like, I go look for and watch videos of Robin Williams. And especially this clip. And every time I'm completely blown away by seeing how all of those people wholeheartedly loved him and were happy from his winning. It must feel good when you are truly and deeply loved and respected by so many people. Amazing. But you were amazing personality, Robin! I ♥ you from the bottom of my heart forever! And thank you, for every smile on my sad face, sir. You movies and your wisdom are like gifts to the humankind.
I miss you Robin! Thank you for all the love, joy and laughter
That just left tears in my eyes. Robins emotion was so real but the loveliest moment was seeing billy crystal hug his old friend at the end.Thank u robin do so many wonderful memories
I love Robin Williams I truly do, but i think Robert Forster deserved it more than anyone EVER? Every performance he's ever given was great, but especially the scene in "Alligator" when his rookie partner if being pulled into the sewer by the alligator!
Aww. Billy Crystal is so proud of his friend. I miss those two together.
Back when it was real, had meaning and wasn't used for political grandstanding.
Robin deserved an Oscar long before this; I didn't even enjoy "Good Will Hunting" that much. But I'm glad the Academy members finally decided to honor him.
To be fair the other candidate's weren't anything special were they?
My left ear really enjoyed that
Congratulations, Robin. When he killed himself I was shattered. He was an inspiration to me.
Miss you so much Robin 😢
His smile here put me into tears.. RIP, my dear good Robin :')
Everybody's happy day speechless right now he deserved it many times over
The one and only Robbin Williams. Will always be missed.
What a wonderful talent.
My first time seeing Robin in a dramatic role was "The Fisher King". His performance was so moving it made me cry. We miss you, Robin. #NaNooNaNoo
Billy Crystal should be the host of the oscars until he has enough. RIP Robin
Yes-Robin is always awsome....
What a great year for Hollywood. As close to 1939 as you can get
When Oscar awards were given to real actors.....
R.I.P Burt Reynolds
I did cry when i heard about hes passing it touched my dipply because the world lost an incredible human being R I P Robin
deserved it for the fisher king too
The way Robin threw himself into Billy's arms!
omg... este senor... le debieron dsr mad..... lo amo y lo amare
He did the Groucho Marx walk off the stage! So fuckin funny! Miss him and his presence on the big screen! RIP sir!
Robin Williams looks like a rich banker who's about to come back to his home discovering hook marks on the wall.
He really did forget his mom (he mentioned this in Graham Norton later). That must have been so awkward later.
My heart breaks for his story.
BURT REYNOLDS 💙💙💙💙💙 descanse en paz.
Vale Burt Reynolds. One of the good ones
KING. WIG. FLUTTERING.
Burt Reynolds should have won,in my opinion. Robin should have won for several other films.
If only Robin knew how much we loved him!
Oh and why Williams never won for What dreams may come is completely inexplicable. That movie is a work of art and Williams performance is the greatest in the greatest role since Hamlet.
Greg Kinnear was ripped off. Too bad he came up against the greatest actor of our age.
I've said many times over the years, Robin Williams was one of the best actors of our generation, and he simply didn't get the credit he deserved, because everyone just saw him as a comic.
gawd, there's that idiot sam l jackass
Now they get up there and we have to listen to thier views on the world ... Now I don't even watch a show I used to enjoy ...
To this very day until my very last breath I'll keep saying that he got royally fucked over when he didn't get any awards for Dead Poet Society.
There were a lot of great movies that year. They really got this one right, his was a great performance.
Marcia had his heart....more than any other woman. I feel he would have lived longer had she not divorced him.
You! P.O.S. !!! Way 2 loooong!!! i want my 5 minutes back !!!!!!!!!!
Robin was not just a zany guy. He was erudite, cosmopolitan, and philosophical. A true mensch. He was truly humble and full of gratitude. His embrace of Billy Crystal was a joyous recognition of brotherhood. Well deserved.
It Should've been His 2nd One. He Should've ALSO Won Best Supporting Actor For "Awakenings" And Robert DeNiro Should've Won Best Actor For The Same Movie Instead Of Jeremy Irons.
Billy so Happy for his friend. True True friendship.
Why oh why hasn't Bert Reynolds won a lifetime achievement award? Robin was quite deserving. His speech was one that brought tears to my eyes. He was a true original and loving man. RIP.
Ok.......that made me cry.
I think he should have won an Oscar for Mrs. Doubtfire. That was a great performance.
70 people have no soul
imo he deserved Oscar for The Fisher King, the academy is slow to catch up, or whatever their problem is. He deserved an Oscar many years b4, for all the films he's been in. Burt Reynolds in Boogie Nights, a nominee, seriously?!?!? Robin should have more than just 1 Oscar, for everything he's done here on earth, and continues to do from afar (my life being an example)
My left ear enjoyed this video of The Late Great Robin Williams...
Damn I miss this funny, wild, smart, warm compassionate comedian who knew how to improvise at the drop of a hat.He was a true comedic, method actor genius at his craft............all the best ones seem to fade away to quick sadly. To make people laugh is a tough gig, but Robin made it look so simple......rest easy funny man.
Please, who is the woman presenting the nominees? She seems to be the daughter of an italian/american actor. Thank you.
Mira Sorvino, daughter of Paul Sorvino. You are welcome, Sylvio.
he forgot to thank his mother
Yeah you can tell Burt Reynolds hated acting in that movie 😂
My left ear thoroughly enjoyed this!
His performance in Good Willl Hunting was probably the one of the best acting performances I've ever seen.
Burt should have won
After learning of Robin's death I remember how I watched this movie and how he was able to dig deep down into his soul and give such an unbelievable performance. It was then I realised that my initial thoughts about him in this movie were correct. When at times you see him poor it all out and really bare all for everyone to see. He wasn't acting. It was real life to him.
Look how genuinely proud and happy Billy Crystal is for his best buddy. R.I.P Robin Williams - GENIUS!
Of Course. Billy And Whoopi are 2 of His Best Friends.
Peter Webb qq
I miss Robin Williams so much
Good night, sweet prince. Gone too soon.
The pride on Billy Crystal's face was like Robin was his little brother winning that Oscar. It was well-deserved. What a legend! What a man!
Man, Forresters wife is freakin gorgeous.
Robin the Welder
jesus that was a tough year
what a screen and stage legend. He never needed his welding back up trade.I think Hollywood was to reserved with his type casting. He had the ability to morph into any character. A greatly missed Genius.
The good old days when movies, actors and the oscars were good and fun.
Ahhhh....movies....I remember well my old friend.
He certainly deserved it. He made so many wonderful movies.
got to me before he passed gets me even more after RIP friend
where was all the political bashing???? all the ELITISM? hadnt the prez been in a lot of trouble? this is CLASSIC . RIP Peter Pan
Great Movie and Robins performance was amazing.
Cocaine has no scientific relation to lewey dementia only age genetics caffein consumption and depression have direct links to it. Look it up before you speak for you are not worthy as i now see dr is just a name you go by
to think this man had such problems that he killed himself, such a shame.
Miss Robin....pure genius.
Truly gracious !
Hahah I tried to be an actor and now I'm welding!
That man was the best. Gone way too soon.
He had such incredible talent, teetering between brilliance and insanity, that many folks didn't understand him. But when he was "on" - nobody could touch his comic genius.
I wish people weren't forced to give a speech when they win an award. It kind of ruins the whole thing.
He was awesome when he was a coke head... after that, eh.
Robin Williams, you are STILL a legend. Miss you!
RIP Robin Williams
I miss Robin so much....
unbelieavable moment .Robin Williams was a great actor ..entertainer..still miss him
I was always a robin Williams fan, but I never new how deep he was till goodwill hunting, well deserved win, Rip robin Williams, thanks for being human
..and i don't care you took your own life, at least not in a vindictive manner..you're still one of the best people to ever walk the earth...
You get moments like this in your life ..then further down the road you still decide to check out.? Poor man must have been very ill mentally, depressed...or bewitched by harpie wives. Either way hope Mork made it back to base.
He should have won for What Dreams may Come, Insomnia and Patch Adams too...Robin was a killer actor...RIP Mork..
He was so genuinely happy and moved. I love him so much.
That was a golden age. All has been diminished since the turn of the century and a rightious, needful terror has been woefully nelected.
He should have won for Dead Poets Society.
And Good Morning Vietnam
I think he should have won for several other films too, like "Hook" or "Mrs. Doubtfire". Unfortunately, the Academy rarely honors box-office hits for anything.
He Should ALSO have Won For "Awakenings"
He has no prayers against Daniel Day-Lewis and besides it's a supporting role nominated in leading.
when you get a huge applause from everybody before being announced winner you know you did amazing.
