*After using this rice cooker for about a month now, >>>**ur2.pl/1063** I am amazed by how fast and convenient it is. When cooking rice in the flash rice option, it only takes around 20-30 minutes, and the quality of the cooked rice is good. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product and I would recommend buying it.?*
I learned an easy way from a guy on YT how to cook brown rice. Just cook it like pasta. Fill a pot with water , bring to a boil add brown rice cook uncovered for 30 min..Drain Simple, Rice comes out perfect.
@marjorie I don't know but i would experiment. Boil Rice for 15 min Drain, Cover with lid for 10 min and fluff. See what you think?? If too tough on next batch try 20min boiling , drain and cover for 10 min. Before long you will have the time that works best. I did try the COVER OOOKED RICE for 10 mins after draining and it came out well.Let me know how you make out.PS...Usually after my rice is cooked. I usually end up making stir fry with it. I cook it for myself in small er batches over the next few days.I think stir frying gives it better texture and flavor.Example for quick stir fry... melt some butter in pan or evoo , add cooked rice stir to coat.. add seasoning , hot sauce , soy sauce chopped cooked veggies (whatever you had as left overs) and stir fry for a min.. ad little water or broth and just let it cook till liquid is absorbed. Add Fresh Herb and Plate. You can experiment. You can add tomato sauce or just diced tomatoes... or Lentils or Beans.. but i think stir frying makes rice taste better.
How long would it take to cook white rice
@Marjorie Marjorie, I just found this method (SEE VIDEO LINK BELOW) which is similar to what i suggested. Only difference after boiling rice for 30 min and draining it this guy covers the pot with a lid and allows it to steam OFF THE HEAT for 10 mins. Then fluffs the rices. Im going to try this method too but i will probably only boil my brown rice 25 min then drain water and cover for 10.ps i never had the brown rice this man is using but it looks good. I have to try it. Best wishes!! Happy Cooking!thexvid.com/video/8ElnFepSixE/video.html

Hi Margie. I don't care for brown rice, but I enjoyed watching you make it in your rice cooker. Came out great. Have a great weekend Margie. :)
@Lila Arce Thanks so much.
Hi is the cooking time for long grain basmati brown rice the same? I always tend to burn rice in the cooker for some reason. I do the 1 cup rice to 4 cups water cooking method and works every time on the cook stove.
Generally speaking the proportions are all the same and the cooking time.I will have to try it and let you know.But thanks for watching.Margie
