I gave this puzzle to a bunch of people as a kid. And people either thought it was impossible, or solved it in like 2 seconds.
The first time I "solved" it. I must've got it right to the end of the solution, just never actually pulled them apart, because I remember sitting on them (sounds weird, because I don't know why I sat on them, or how I didn't notice I was sitting on them), and when I stood up, they were pulled apart. Was straight up like magic. Couldn't explain it at the time, but knowing how it is done, it does make sense.
Such a fun puzzle. Had this one and a bunch of others in this little kit. And this one was either the most difficult one, or the easiest one. Just depended on the person. I've solved it probably hundreds of times. Just as something I used to fidget with.
@Lonesome I buy my puzzles here. Tangled nails puzzle - www.puzzlemaster.ca/browse/wire/41-tangled-nails?a=709294

@Puzzle guy where do you get these puzzle's from?? I want em too!!!
P.s' Do Not say Amazon, lol. Cuz AMAZON delivery in my country 🥺
Lmao
@ArtMelon 😂😂
This one’s a classic. Loved solving this as a kid.
India m keval yehi milte h🤣
@Harvey Lidder well that’s one way to solve it 😂
My siblings had this puzzle collections & brought it to hangouts and reunions as side game or conversation starter.
Im not rly a puzzle kind of guy , however i LOVE panic rooms , i was always good at thoses and my friends always invited me to them , however when i did do puzzles i would give my self 30 min to do it and then leave it and come back to it ... i will always think of a new way that my complete it randomly out of the blue .... is that just me ???
Almost a perfect loop. Also, love this classic puzzle. Gonna go look for mine now.
Seeing this puzzle again gave me so many memories. My grandpa got me into this type of thing when I was younger, and this specific puzzle was the one possession of his I wanted when he passed. I never got it.
This was probably my first 3D puzzle; my grandfather's. It was also the one with which I learned the technique itself! People tend to teach you how to solve it in motions, which is kind of a "black box", but when I realized what I was doing is matching the empty spaces, it made other puzzles much clearer. It challenges how you interact with your piece and space rather than just a fidget.
i have something very similar made of iron and larger and not shaped as nails, but with the same basic shape and solution and i got it from an actual blacksmith in ballarat. it was my first puzzle and it's super fun
Bomboclat bech
This is actually the easiest puzzle I’ve ever done, took me like 30 seconds to figure it out
@Røget Bacon 2 seconds
Pfffff... took me 10 seconds... 🤣
Classic, my dad who was a math teacher used to pass puzzles like this after when they finished a test, or like a day before break, give em something to do and think critically
This is a super easy puzzle. I've had it for many years and I love it because of how simple it is but how complicated it seems to be.
I remember getting this puzzle when I was like 13 and it took like 20 minutes to figure out. still one of my favorite puzzles
I remember this puzzle! An easier way to explain it is, cross them in to opposite rotation that it gets stuck by, and twist.
One thing that I really love about him is that he doesn't make unessesary part 2's like other tiktoks just to get views. Thank you, puzzle guy for making these wonderful contents.
@gaygelding Yeah, I'll admit that. After rereading my comment, I realized that the word "content" should be plural. I didn't edit other things but solely just the word "content". Thanks btw. Oh yeah, please reply to the reply
that I have made too
@Kohaku LMAOOO, you edited the word "content" too... Wten i wrote the comment, it said "these wonderful content"
@gaygelding You're like saying to write "this wonderful flowers" instead of "These wonderful flowers". It just doesn't sound right.
@gaygelding Uhm.. I meant "these wonderful contents" as in videos; meaning, his whole channel. "These" is the plural form of "this" so technically, I was correct? I'm not saying that you're wrong; if you were talking about a single video, you are right. Please note that I was talking about most of his videos, not just this. It's supposed to be plural, not singular. Saying "This wonderful content" doesn't sound right either. If you still think I was wrong, you are free to write me how the entire text is supposed to be written.
I remember having this as a kid, I loved it!
This man is giving some serious brain exercising contents!👍
Wow 😯 this is actually the very first puzzle I ever had that was a good 25 years ago and it took me months to figure it out and once I got it apart it took me forever to get it back together lol I’ll never forget how this puzzle works
This was the first puzzle I ever tried. I got this on a family trip and it entertained the family 😂
OH I LOVE THIS ONE! I have a whole set of different versions of this. Amazing 😍
This is such a simple puzzle. I now want to try making it.
At my old job, we all were dressed as cowboys and we were able to play cards and do little puzzles like this in between customers. I taught everyone how to untangle these!
I have this puzzle and i usually gave it to my friends every year to see if they could solve it and they either solved it by shaking it like mad or they gave up, it was so funny😂
I tried these before. Was simple to solve than most others.
This is one of my favorites still fun even after solving a ton of times.
This is a classic! My dad had a handmade one from his grandfather
My grand father had dozens of those metal puzzles. He loved them dang things.😄
Fact, you can separate those nails by just throwing them in the air several times. Be ready to catch it if they're not separate yet. Repeat the process and they'll separate
I had this puzzle. Everyone tried to force it and one guy broke it. It was a bigger version and had large balls on the end too.
I used to have this when I was a kid! Thanks for the memory jog😊
I knew the solution. I have a lot of metal wire. Nicely done👍
You make it look so simple yet my mind is still baffled.
I had this as a kid!! You just unlocked a childhood memory lol
Had this as a kid (like a lot of others here). Was so satisfying
This is the easiest puzzle on this channel that I have seen so far! Thanks!
Love this puzzle got one as a kid I still have it!
Solution is pretty easy. I knew it at the second look. It's awesome
I actually solved this puzzle first try when I got it as a kid, I guess I’m a genius
I have this one, the first time I solved was by accident cause I was angry at it so I held onto only one and started shaking it, after that my uncle was impressed so gave me the actual solution.
Great puzzle, Hope you make more of the nails.
My 1st Puzzle,, it was made in front of me…. Loved it !!!
I had this puzzle 10 years ago. My mom taught me how to solve this puzzle, but that was different a way.
This is the first puzzle I’ve seen on your channel that I solved before you explained it to me
Damn, didn't expect to see this puzzle here..I have it about 10 or 13 years ago. But mine is thicker and shaped like 'g'. I tried to find it back but didn't remember where I put it. Last time I played with it was in 2020. Still remember when the first time I got the puzzle when I was a kid. It took me a whole day to figure how to untangle it 😂😆.
I would've solved this one is 3 seconds. I use to be into these kinda things as kids. So now I watch these videos like "I remember those"😂
I worked this puzzle at least forty years ago. It's nice to see it again.
I have a similar one, try shaking it in your hands loosely and then tossing it in the air gently above your head. I've had it solve itself many times this way. I've never thought to video myself doing it.
I have one of these and I mastered it before seeing it
Also mine is called "gemini twins" which I like more than "tangled nails"
Omg I used to have this puzzle!! I loved it so much hahaha
the shine of the nail is so lovely !
It’s not a mistake ✨it’s a masterpiece ✨
I remember one of my counselors had this kind of puzzle. I brute forced the pieces from each other
This is one of my favorite YT channel. I loved it! 😍👍
I never knew such as many puzzles before....
That's a beautifully designed puzzle
It's not a mistake ✨ ITS A MASTERPIECE ✨
Solution: The nails need to “pass” each other where they cross themselves.
I feel kind of cool that I already knew how to solve this. 😊😊
Finally a puzzle I know how to solve because I've actually done myself it before, lol.
Loved solving this one when I was a kid
I loved playing with this puzzle when I was younger
I remember, I had this back when I was a child. I used to know the trick.
I remember when I got a big full of meta puzzles like this one it was fun for a year
We got this from Cracker Barrel once. My dad showed me the solution and I never forgot. The solution was what the video said is _not_ the solution, BTW; the nail heads didn’t get in the way. I guess it just depends on the nails used and the closeness of the twist.
I did so many of these puzzles that I can basically just find the solution just by seeing them (most of the time)
The person who solved it : legend
The person who made it : ultra legend
My friend had this puzzle and he gave it to me , i was fiddling with it and twisted it and by pure mistake i compleated this and just said "oh" and gave it to him , he looked at me and said "WHAT?" as i took him like 20min to do it
How did it cost you vs How much it took to make it is off the charts!
i have this puzzle- i was so confused on how i solved it- multpile times too- but now i know- so thank chu! :D
The solution was the first thing I got in mind after seeing the puzzle coz it's commonly done in my country (in necklaces)
at first glance i felt i can swing it around and they will never get lost
now after seeing the solutions they feels so fragile and now i am afraid i will just loose 1 of its piece
even though i dont even own a pair xD
I have something similar, took me a bit but I solved it, fun.
Omg, I had these as a child and used to bend the metal to solve it 😭
I guess they will keep nailing me into a wall :(
I love the fact you can use it when your bored and you can use to protect you.
If that is sharp enough
It might just scratch the skin to like make it have a white hole then it’s gonna bleed but idk
I remember shaking these puzzles violently until it came apart.
me that never came up with idea to shake it: 🗿
😂😂
@noard lmao
@noard how about me? 😢
@rec royal bucket Not you
my dad hade the exact same one when i was a kid and i used to do it like it was nothing bro this bring me back memory damn good ol days
I honestly thought i was one of the only people that got this puzzle when I was younger but i’m surprised its actually pretty common
YOOO MY FRIEND HAD THAT PUZZLE
I was mind blown when she showed me how to unconnec them 👏
It took me depressing 3 days as a kid to solve and afterward used it as a way to fidget with daily.. seeing it wants me to fidget with it again....what fond memories.
I had this puzzel, but it didn't have the nail head. It was just curved at the ends enough so you couldn't pull them apart the first way
Haha I had one of these as a kid and forced them through the small gap between the loop and the straight part until one of them was bending. After that I called it a day.
i have this and it’s so fun but it’s pretty difficult at first
✨OMG I’m sooooo surprised✨
I finish that in 2 minutes
These kinds of puzzles are my fave to just mess around with. People at my work are amazing that i can solve it and when they do it they can't 😂
I had a set of these puzzles. This was the easiest of them.
Those kinds of puzzle are actually very easy to solve
As you said, looks very easy but it isn't
This is the only puzzle I own and I keep solving it but not knowing how. And sometimes I forget how to put it back together.
Lemme guess, spin both at the same time in opposite directions around each other? Edit: I was wrong, there were more rotations and only by one nail.
It’s like a more straight forward version of the Socrates logic puzzle
I knew the answer in five seconds, tangled nails is pretty common so I am familiar with these problems. Just need logical thinking, very very easy.🤣🤣🤣✌🏻
i had one of these but without the nail heads, so it had multiple solutions, had lots of fun showing it off on the playground when i was young
This is my first puzzle and i am fascinated that i started collecting more,,
My solution for these types of puzzles is just “shake it in your hands until it comes apart.”
😂😂😂🤝🤝
This puzzle took me less than a minute to ACCIDENTALLY solve. Then when I put it back together it took me another 5 minutes to figure out what the hell I did to solve it ONLY for me to look up at my mom and I solved WITHOUT LOOKING so I put it back together AGAIN and took me another 10 minutes to solve the damn thing.
I used to have this in my school days. And everyone was like "how are u doing this"??😂
It took me less than 5 minutes to complete this on my own
I guessed the solution the second I saw it I was like “wait what if you u just slide the nail through the slit opening my in the hoop.”
I used to have that puzzle when I was like 13, I figured it out quickly and then realized I'm not that good at puzzles
I got it as soon as I heard the objective it is VERY easy
Everyone: wow classic puzzle
Me: so polished nails🔨✨
Ah i had that. Couldn't solve it as a kid after tons of time, forgot about it, came back a few years later and instantly solved
Now it's rusted beyond use, threw it out a few years ago
This was actually the first puzzle I ever got
I remember messing with this thing as a kid and finally pulling it apart and them never touching it again
Which is why I just saw this video, fished the two pieces out of the bottom of my drawer and was excited that I was going to be able to put them back together now
