  • Welsh inventor John Boff entered the Den with the EcoSpot: a product that reduces musculoskeletal injuries by 70%, according to a University of Swansea trial. John Boff seeks £25K in return for a 15% equity stake which isn't a high ask for someone with 27 years' experience as a bricklayer so who will get behind this passionate bricklayer?
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

four people with 7.5% is 30 of your company and you've got to juggle more bigheads; or one lass @ 35% for full investment. DUH! No reason in pretending to be torn; go with the single lass. duh. you both with make BANK and you'd be juggling far less egos.

Deborah was the logical choice. She’s got the connections, she’s focused and is very successful in a wide variety of businesses, so she is a good listener. I would maybe have negotiated her equity share down a bit but there’s no doubt she’s the right choice!

Step Three: Sweat your ass off.
Step Four: Give double of your company away, but it's okay as it wasn't worth anything anyway.
