Fun in the Flood Cayenne

  • Published on Dec 19, 2018
  • When Ed (IG: @edbolian) thought he could buy a lemon lawed Superleggera, he sold his ex-prostitute Gallardo. Unfortunately the SL got too expensive and he was left without a car. Good news, there was a Cayenne that had been in a flood laying around the dealership.

I bought a 1984 Alfa Romeo Spider for $3000. It's rough enough that I don't stress too much over paint chips, and have even used it as a commuter in the snow. Never had so much fun running errands. Easy on gas and definitely an uncommon sight on the roads.
If you're on the fence about getting an Alfa, I suggest you start by looking into the Series 3 Spider. I see why they are considered the gateway drug to Alfas... they're not the prettiest (so you start looking for older models) but they are reliable enough to last a while until something else breaks.

So vin wiki u and ur wife have all these supercar maybe 200k in the garage i,would assume ur losing 20k a year in depreciation
are u from wealthy family or trust fund boy. doesn t that bother u or does ur ego need that boost every day
don't hide from this question show some transparency and don't try go lie about not depreciating. u r about 45. I would say in 25 years u have probably lost 500k in cars depreciation
is that shrewd negotiating. he'll no

    • VINwiki
      VINwiki  7 months ago +1

No trust fund, unfortunately. My parents were hard workers and taught me a lot but no multi-generational wealth yet. I am only 33 and fortunately all the cars I have bought for personal use haven't depreciated. Most I have been able to flip at fairly significant profit which has allowed me to own the 7 current cars without any loans. Since I bought the first Gallardo in 2006 at 20 years old (with a massive loan), I would estimate I have made about $500k on the appreciation of the cars.

I am no good at negotiating I mean I think I'm so bad I would buy above sticker price. So I like seeing people who are good at it. I could watch every video and still be horrible at negotiating.
