That looks amazing for a 37-year-old airframe. Looks like they upgraded the cockpit from 767-200 standard to a 767-400 or 747-400 version, with the two bigger displays on each side instead of the original round gauges. There aren't that many passenger 767-200s flying any more so it's great to see one of these get a new lease on life, and what a life!

I was actually expecting it to be a little nicer inside considering what some of the other aircraft interiors that I’ve seen looked liked. Still very impressive. When I watch other real estate videos, you guys are the standard, amazing amount of work that you guys do and the production quality is the standard and other real estate channels just don’t seem to compete. The videography is just perfect, the pace, the focus, the editing, perfect.

Hi Enes! This is a wonderful video, and it’s a real treat to see the craftsmanship at work here. Thank you for sharing it with us! Since you mentioned aviation-grade materials at 8:32, I thought I’d offer a bit of information:
Aviation-grade materials are subject to stringent testing requirements for performance, durability, flammability and torsion. Additionally, tests will be conducted to check for toxicity under pressure and flame and - crucially - to keep overall weight as low as possible. Thus, hard structures (such as trolleys, built in seats and lavatory commodes) may be composite thermoplastic, or built in honeycomb shapes at the structural level to reduce weight while maintaining overall structural integrity (for instance: seat trusses being triangular). Thermoplastics are also common in aviation interiors with over 11,000lb of composite material being found in the average 777.
All in all, your yacht analogy is perfectly apt, because air and water both behave similarly and a plane experiences turbulence the way a ship feels wake. The superstructure will account for that, and the interiors designed to minimize the sensation of movement!
I hope that adds interest the next time you get to tour a private jet of this magnitude. The engineering that goes into these flying palaces is as spectacular as their interiors!

It was a well covered video, would like to see more such videos especially of completion centers working mainly on likes of ACJ320 family as these jets provide not only bigger cabin size but also are more practical with more number of airports compatibility enabling direct long haul flights. Would also like to see more on cargo spaces in next videos as this too is major advantage over traditional biz jets. Namaste.

  • wendyannh
    wendyannh 15 days ago +11

Beautiful, and indeed very well thought out.
Another design issue that is specific to airplanes is weight. You can certainly have stone and wood finishes, but rather than the thick slabs of each you might see in a home, what’s built for planes (and possibly yachts as well) is a thin veneer over a super lightweight aluminum honeycomb backing.
You wouldn’t believe the cost of landing a private plane. I know that the more usually-sized private jets cost at least $25,000 just to land the thing, at least at major airports. Add that on to the hourly cost to operate plus salaries for all of those people, and it’s hard to imagine having enough money to be able to afford all that, never mind justify it, especially if the plane is used frequently.

About the aviation grade materials you’re actually on the right path. Strength durability and flammability are all factors in materials because you want it strong and durable but also like you said you don’t want it extremely flammable. I’ll say though apart from being less flammable the other 2 don’t matter as much for the interior as they won’t be subjected to much of a pressure change as the exterior and the cargo compartment. But they are still
Factors because you don’t want to refit an aircraft time after time after time.

Your video editing and walktroughs are amazing ! For this planes interior I expected more, but I am little spoiled as I have seen another tour of a big private jet with more luxurious interior design. I believe that private plane was from a sheik from Saudi Arabia who has more money to spend on the interior and exterior of the plane. Another TheXvidr did the walkthrough in that plane already, so I dont know if they would let other TheXvidrs do the tour in that private plain.

AMAZING! This used to be a QANTAS airliner when it was new 36 years ago. It was then sold by the airline and been in service as a private aircraft since with various charter/management companies. Most recently it was used by Polaris aircraft management. The hourly operating costs on these old airliners is insane (he quoted $12,000/hr), but the tradeoff is the passenger can fly in a huge, new condition interior for literally half or third the cost of a new Gulfstream! Bring us moire aircraft, maybe a new Gulfstream 700 - the new absolute king of private aircraft

Mark Cuban also had and just sold a 767-200, 38 years old. It was an old airliner as well, re-configured for all Business Class seating as a charter plane. Cuban also has a nicer, newer, (yet smaller) 757 he uses to fly around his Dallas Mavericks. The old 767 was a nice backup when the 757 was at Jiffy is it being scrapped for parts - maybe to keep Enes' newfound ride in the air!

Brilliant video and presentation, you two really are setting standards!
As for jets... I was lucky enough to tour a 747(!) with The Wife which amongst a million other things had a rainshower of 3ft diameter - in 24k gold. The chief engineer whom invited us to tour the jet, tuned in the music system - I can tell you, a 747 and then Coldplay full blast - wow.
Did I mention the boxes for horses, staff and a car in the cargo area? The staff boxes to look after the horses were of highest quality at an owner's cabin level - you know the deal, happy crew, happy life, happy boat.
Btw, next month there's the Aircraft Interior Expo in Hamburg/Germany... if you can make it and find opportunities to fund/visit this, could be agreat added value, after all, LHT (Lufthansa Technik) is one of the few leading companies in the world building these private jets.

First of all, great presentation as usual. Yet you should never allow the camera man or anyone outside the viewable area of the video to interrupt you, that significantly reduces your viewers experience because its natural to want to see the person talking and not being able to do so is a bit annoying. Also, given he operates the camera, you can't make that happen.

I would like to make a request if you could please travel to the African continent and go to a few countries and show people just how beautiful and unique the place is cause there’s a lot people don’t know and don’t get to see. Thanks in advance

The closest I've got to a private plane was a flight I was on had no one was sitting next to me so I had two seats.

I still prefer the smaller Lineage 1000. Most airports can't handle the 67's size/weight.
But awesome video nonetheless. Well done.

This definitely reduces anxiety when travelling. I now understand why packing people into a plane is so anxiety causing - little leg space , tiny seats , small toilet ....

I worked with the plane equipment industry for a while. There are 2 types of planes concerning equipment:
    1) Those get out directly from major air plane manufacturer (Boeing or Airbus), equipments must follow manufacturer's standards and they are tough (Crash tests, emergency lending simulation, etc.). Most of those crafts are sold to company like United Airline, ANA, Air France, etc.
    2) Those you buy a empty plane and you fill it. I believe the plane on this video follow this type of plane. You can fill mostly anything but the plane manufacturer do not promise a high survival rate if something happen, only the company filling the equipment does. It doesn't mean they are not safe, they follow different safety specifications.
