You need to protect the raw metal. Every cut and hole is a new potential for rust. You may want to consider removing the vent, coating the raw surface of the metal, and reinstalling it. Cheers

Body modifications are always a bit emotional - any sort of cutting or drilling feels pretty irreversible, and more than a little scary as a result! Still, I’d say the results this time are pretty good, even if you had to cut into the stripes. Looking forward to seeing more of Phil in the future! I’m also hankering after getting my own car out on track at some point…
Haha I'm not gonna lie, I'd actually love to have a signed part of Phil to sit pretty in my garage at home.
