In all arab states and also in Indonesia, malaysia, women regularly go to mosques to pray. Its only in India and Pakistan, and that too I think is primarily because of space as during friday prayers, mosques get fully occupied by gents only. As an indian muslim, I feel we really should do something about this issue.

Ghar pe namaj pad ne se jada sabab Hota hai to masjid kew. This women talking none sense.

  • Abdul | The Marketing Noob

Guys don't confuse with his petition. He speaks about mixing prayer alongside men with women. In India we already have separate prayer halls for women, mostly women pray in home just because of their work and tiredness. But being women they're allowed to pray in prayer halls but not alongside men. They can have separate prayer halls, no problem with that. That's the important thing to note, there is a rule if there is only one mosque and less number Muslim men and women, in that case men are made to stand in front rows and women in back rows. So there is no fitnah, men are only allowed to leave the hall if every women behind them has left the hall. It's A disciplined manner to leave after praying. Men are prohibited from Seeing other women other than their own wife, and as well as women are prohibited too. So this kind of discipline saves both of them from sins. I hope you understand.

But I am saying about a 3rd party women who doesn't relate to you in any away, especially not a blood relation kinda women. There are many things we have been thought as a sin that restricts us from entering Jannah and having a good life, this is one of them. Hope you understand

+zenma forever if you're mentioning they won't allow women into mosque. But if the women's of the certain area are willing to pray in Mosque, after consulting with Jamaat of the locality then they're given a separate prayer hall for both madarsa and praying. Whatever the Jamaat maybe, just file a petition to them that N number of women's are willing to pray in Mosque, then you can get your own prayer hall. If you're still struggling to get one, let me know. I will speak on behalf of you. Important thing, this guy's case was a revenge against allowing women in Sabrimala Temple and from that day on women's from BJP sector try to enter various mosques in Kerala to propagate a communal clash. This case was given in order to upgrade that communal tension, but we as a Muslim should understand that more and turn every situation in a positive way.

Women has permission to offer Salah (prayer) in Masjid...but Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) has advised women to better perform Salah in their homes rather than in Masjid along with Men.
Women gets same reward whether she performs Salah in their home or in Masjid furthermore she has another advantage that is flexibility of timing within the Salah time period.
In contrast Man if perform Salah at home, he will get 25 times less reward than if he performs at Masjid ba-jamaat.
Man has to reach Masjid at appointed fixed time to find Jamaat to perform Salah to get the same reward which woman easily gets by performing Salah at their homes with flexible schedule.
However if women wish to perform Salah in Masjid then no one should stop her, she has right to perform Salah in Masjid....

Women are very much allowed to offer namaz in the Masjid .
It's also highly encouraged in the religion of Islam for women to offer namaz in the Masjid and be a part of Friday congregations .
In the southern part of India there are lot Masjid's ( Mosque's ) who already have this facility for women for the last 14 Years ,
irony is it's being voiced out now .

Many mosques in Turkey & Tunisia have separate rooms or place for women to perform wudhu and pray. Some mosques even allow men & women to pray together. In Kerala, a woman led the Friday prayers in mosque. I believe women's mosque entry is not as serious as Sabarimala issue.

And btw, just a fyi, Islam says about right of women as, she cannot be compelled to do household work, that's the job of the husband, prepare food, clean the house and everything. If husband cannot manage, he should get a helper. So the reason that women cannot pray namaz because of work is baseless through religious point of view.

Yes it's not a "cultural thing" in the subcontinent only, if we go to Arab world or Europe or North African or even in east Asia you would find tons of women go to mosque to pray. I think only in India, Pak & Bangladesh women usually don't go to mosque to pray. Otherwise I have friends all over the world and they all go to masjid everyday or whenever they want to. Faltu cheezo ka bhi namune log issue bana dete hai, aaj kal toh common hai ye. This is so wrong. Nobody can take this right from women about offering prayers in Islam. I was a little kid since then i used to go with papa and offered namaz. However now when i go to masjid i separately offer prayers as per rulings on parda. When i go to masjid i make sure that i am covered as per Islamic rules. However just to clarify so that nobody gets confused that during hajj which is highest among all type of prayers, both men and women offer prayers together.

+proud Indian then bro it's your fault, you must be mature enough to not feel sexual urges for people who have come to pray namaz. Have u been to kaba? It's open to all Muslims. Women and men are together there, there is not even a partition. You should have high self control, and when you are praying namaz, I don't think ur focus should be anywhere except on Allah. I didn't wanted to say this, but inequality in genders is not a feature of Islam, it's a feature of Hinduism, which clearly the sunnis and wahabis of India and South East Asia have incorporated into Islam.
