I am always highly impressed by the South Korean economic miracle. It's strength is seen in this video of a modern, highly polished, kim chee factory. All of the machinery is shiny, clean and efficient. It puts to shame a lot of remaining factories in the U.S. that still use outdated, old, or inefficient machinery that shows a lot of rust. That is, few, because manufacturing continues to fade in the United States except for a few, absolutely vital products that cannot be outsourced overseas. It took South Korea longer than Japan because of the Korean War. A Korean American man told me months ago that even as recent as the 1980s, poverty and hunger still existed in South Korea. But it is now 2021 and South Korea has caught up to Japan. The South Koreans are prosperous, educated, employed, and for the first time in their very long history, are well-fed. It took the Japanese People almost just as long. Imagine the capability of eating till your stomach is full, with as much rice as you want to eat, EVERY night. Imagine eating a wealth of diverse, tasty foods that are indigenous and from other nations. Today's South Koreans are eating as well as the old Korean kings. Imagine being inches taller than your ancestors because now you're eating regular good food every day and night. The ancestors of South Koreans would be incredibly astonished to see the wealth and resources and generous food supplies of their modern day descendants.

I have to say watching Korean dramas I always wondered about kimchi and now my walmart sells it and I love it. I can't get enough of it's taste it is so good. I'm glad that kimchi is making a world journey, because I will never get the chance to go to Korea and it would have been so sad for me to miss out on a great food. I eat it whenever I serve fish and it just goes so well with fish and rice.
I studied in Korea and let me tell you, grocery store kimchi is disgusting and almost offensive with how bad it is compared to home-made or even some Korean restaurants. Do yourself a favor and find a Korean town or friend and get some non manufactured kimchi. Even HMart kimchi won’t do it justice let alone Walmart. Love that ur dabbling in the food tho I wish everyone know the best way to have it for the full experience :)
i’ve tried package kimchi/ kimchi made by restaurants in my area,they taste so bad so i thought that kimchi taste bad,but when try making it by myself just like this video,they actually taste like heaven and i’m addicted

Sepanjang yg saya lihat, Korea Selatan adalah yg paling higienis dalam pemgolahan makanan. Standar mutu mereka sangat tinggi bahkan utk makanan jalanannya👍👍

I also had an experience working in a Kimchi factory, I just stop because I got pregnant.. but the experience helped me to learn how to prepare and do kimchi, I used what I've learn every Kimjang season with my inlaws! 😁

This is a traditional food of korean. it's really delicious and popular food in supermarket of Vietnam. A huge number of people are likely to eat whenever they go to Korean Buffet Restaurants in Vietnam. They include me. Awesome.
my boss is korean ,they taught me how to do it ,im the one whos incharge in making it,it takes 11 to 12 hrs in 100kilos,,so tired but worth it and proud here ,the best kimchi in the supermarket where we work usually our fellow Filipino customer used to come for kimchi alone.the best kimchi ever 👌😁😉
