"Wait, are you going to cover the episodes individually now?"
"Are you still doing a video for the season as a whole?"
    I think so yes.
"What took this video so long?"
Well, I didn't intend on making this until much more recently when thinking about Episode 5, I also bumped the editing and some life stuff happened. But I plan on making a video for 5 and 6.
    "You covering episode 6 live?"
    Yes, live, with Jeremy and Anna on this channel. Wolf is busy ;__;
But yeah, I will be talking about the episode and the series as a whole soon after the episode has finished airing. Catch the stream on this channel and an archive of the stream will be on Mooler -

I'm amazed that the ballista gunners where able to snipe the high flying dragon with their first volley. Could the balista even angle high enough or the bolt carry enough momentum to pierce the hide of the dragon. Why didn't they have ballistas in every battle, they could be sniping commanders and knights on horse without batting an eye.

Did you pick up on the fact that Sanss broke faith with John and shared his true origins and lineage with Tyrion who shared this dangerous knowledge with Varys.
Sansa was determined to avoid at all costs pledging her Allegiance to the Dragon Queen. She knew that John had already done so and technically John was still the head of the family and the king in the North.
So breaking faith with John she created a rival for Daenerys in spreading news of his claim to the throne, and since they decided to suddenly write Deaenerys now as a homicidal maniac, distant and suspicious, the Dragon Queen saw Jon as a threat to her rule. Sansa used her own brother put him In harm's way established him as a rival to Daenerys is power where Deanarys would have to kill him eventually.
So Sansa placed her brother like a chess piece in a position to be used as a tool to draw out the queen and force a confrontation where one of them would have to die.
And after Sansa performed this Machiavellian manipulation and Jon was forced to kill the woman he loved, John is punished and sent to the wall although he's the rightful King. Santa gets her own kingdom and is Queen in the North.
She really did learn her lessons from Littlefinger and Cersei didn't she?
Maybe it's just the cheese catlins daughter and she's more Tully than Stark because Catlin was absolutely awful and willing to do anything to secure what she wanted and many people died because of it including her husband The Honorable Ned Stark. so maybe Sansa's just a chip off the old block...
God I hope the books don't do this this was absolutely awful.

Some people may think you are going too far. But in truth you are one of the few people who is doing justice. Just because it is TV and most TV is crap is no reason to forgive bad art. Game of Thrones represented a rare chance for a medium to achieve new heights. It is terrible that this opportunity was squandered and the result was so fucking terrible. When the makers have good will, money and a ready audience, they have a duty to see their work to its end. It is a major cultural disaster that a potential great became this.,,,,,,,, TERD.

Another whole year, to film 6 episodes. This is what they came up with

    What ?
"We'll surround the city. If the iron fleet tries to ferry in more food, the dragons will destroy it".
With mass starvation you make the innocents suffer the most ! And the people would have rightfully blamed Jon and Daenerys for this. This is a better plan than to destroy the Red Keep alone? having only Cersei and maybe some of her guards as casualties.
    You Idiots !
How about "there's no need for a battle. Thousands of men don't need to die".
They should have helped rebuild Winterfell at first (And yes, there was no rush, Cersei was alone, all the kingdoms supported Dany and Jon the true heir was not a problem, if Jon publically abdicated just like Maester Aemon). Even more so, Jon and Dany should have married. Jon rejecting Dany because they are related is the most idiotic, non-Westerosi thing ever. And also, the most anti-Targaryen thing ever written: 2 Targaryens can't marry because they are 2 Targaryens.
And then suddenly, one night/early morning, Dany and Grey Worm on Drogon, Jon and Arya on a fully recovered Rhaegal burn down the roof of the throne room, land and say: "Cersei, bend the knee or die!"
Or even an easier solution, have only Arya and The Hound travel to KL. Job done !

You know what's particularly baffling to me about this episode (and to an extent the next episode)? The fact that I can ALMOST see a way to try and make this story more coherent with the elements they put on the table.

    - Bronn kidnaps My Sunday as a hostage after being talked out of assassinating Tyrian. That hostage situation prompts Dany to rush her forces back despite their being tired rather than just being impatient.

    - Move the Iron Fleet ambush the Dragonstone as them anticipating a return after the hostage intel. Perhaps it'd be more reasonable to assume the fleet wouldn't go right up to Daenerys' front door as opposed to meeting them out in open water. The forces take shelter inside the castle, don't kill Rhaegel here. Dany having two dragons gives her more power to back the ceasefire negotiation scene. Also leaves out random questions like how the fuck the marooned crew get back to base or how only My Sunday got kidnapped from the fleet annihilation.

    - Have both dragons for the King's Landing battle but kill Rhaegel HERE. Having one of her "children" die more immediately could make the rampage feel less pre-meditated (though I would still keep the intent to destroying the city without necessarily aiming for civilians), rather than having her go berserk when the battle is decisively won, not to mention two dragons is a slightly more believable force to destroy the city defenses with one dying, compared to one who is basically unscathed.

This isn't even me coming up with a better resolution (since I lack knowledge of the world, story, or characters beyond these rages mentioning some as tertiary context), this is just pointing out by "repair" how illogically they manage to reach their aimed conclusion with the pieces they had simply by the timing of major events (the hostage taking, Fleet Ambush, death of a dragon), some of which aren't even lengthier for their episode crunch, just the point of which episode they place it into when.

OMG .... just how did this borefest travesty happen!? The entire GoT storyline is based on 'A Song of Ice and Fire' - without the 'ICE' it just loses all of the strength of the show - the battle for survival from the Ice dead invasion should have taken ALL season - not end with a knife by a little girl assassin!!! It is the worst storyline ever - the entire season has fallen into a silly romantic 'days of our lives' that ultimately kills of every great strong intelligent character by turning them into weak morons!!! What a borefest - how was this shit ever greenlit !?
