Truly one of the great tragedies of the century. "His like will ne'er pass this way again..." "And when he shall die, take his body and cut it into stars; and he shall make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night, and pay no worship to the garish sun." Requiescat in Pace 💔✨✨✨

"If it (the clip) isn't any good, I'll be on a game show!". He was hilarious just coming up with funny stuff on the spot. The stuff about the 80's and the references to AIDS and the behaviour of Gays in San Fran watching an NFL game had Carson just falling over with laughter. I wonder how much of the clip of him on Good Morning Vietnam was scripted and how much was just letting Robin do his think and make it up as he goes along. He made up some of the dialogue when he played the Genie in Aladdin. They would just say go and he would create it. He was just so creative and so great at improv and creating a character or impersonating a character. What a talent!

Did any of you ever stop and think maybe Depression was Not the reason for what he did, but that the depression he supposedly suffered was an inevitable reaction To what he knew he was going to do, what he felt was the right thing to do? Is it possible that Robin Williams wanted to leave this world being remembered for who he was (which you can tell from the comments everybody did) and not for being remembered as an aging "has been" comedian that slowly perished in a miserable fashion fighting a disease like so many of us do?
I once read a quote that went something like this, "we all die the object is not to live forever but to create something that will" well that's exactly what Robin Williams did!

I love how Johnny Carson has to slow Robin down a bit,,,,just by cutting in and saying UHM , SO, DO YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT YOUR MOVIE,,,,
    freaking PRICELESS,,,, - - - - -
I have never seen Carson actually stand up and take a breath because Robin had him in stitches and I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Williams actually made Carson piss himself.
Now that's one hell of a killer interview, it has to be one of the , if not the best talk show interviews EVER - in the history of television and internet as of late ;-)
It's so much funnier and better than any comedian on tour or stand up ;-)
    RIP Robing Williams -
