It's a fun video but you do have quite a few misconceptions
Being in the ocean ISNT why they got so big
They were the same size for millions of years, & only in the last 3 million did they massively spike in size, to make more successful migrations
You should watch "how large are blue whales really? Size comparison"
It's a similar video but is a lot more scientifically accurate haha
Im not saying yours is like vastly incorrect, you just have a few misconceptions, you do account for how mass/weight/height/length can vary the definition of size a lot

If i could play grammar police for a second, it's spelled megalodon, not megaladon.

  • Game Trailers with Music

Megladons where bigger than blue whales
Before megladons where extinct they were the Same size or sometimes bigger than the blue whale
The only reason our modern day blue whales are bigger is because they didn’t go extinct like the megladons
Giving them enough time to increase in size as time goes by
Fun fact: megladons were soo big they could bite a blue whale in half with one bite
    Extra information
Animals/dinosaurs do grow a bit bigger over time or smaller
    Whales use to have
Legs when their bodies were light enough
And they weren’t even a quarter of their of their current size

    • Germ Bedro
Germ Bedro 13 hours ago +1

You're dumb as fuck. They don't grow because of "how long they've been around".
Even if this retarded comment was accurate, what does it matter? That still means the megalodon is half the soze of a blue whale.
You must suffer from some severe autism.

The blue whale is the largest mammal that has ever existed, and most likely will ever exist on earth. There's a lot of people saying things like "what about the Megalodon?", but Megalodons, though huge, were much smaller than blue whales. Blue whales can grow up to about 30 meters, but Megalodons were only about 18 meters at the longest. Please do research before you ask questions that can easily be answered by a quick Google search

Megalodon likely lays somwhere inbetween 10-17m long, and dont forget, it ate dwarf-whales, not giant whales like the one we're talking about.

The megalodon was a lot smaller than the blue whale. They grew up to 18m long at the most, but blue whales are about 30m long.

I don’t agree with the “pain” part since plants don’t have nervous systems, but yes humans are greedy and awful.

@UCFUD5M7QP7wz_rP8h_3gU5g working on my comp sci degree atm. I took an intro environment sciences bio course and even it went over some taxonomy. There also seems to be this belief that a degree in a field means you know lots about all the different parts. As opposed to them been seen as a specialist in the small part they focused on

    • Parium
      Parium 4 days ago

Your probably right - I wasn't paying attention, and definitely missed my intro classes in my first and 2nd year. The trivia we were told about in finals were magnetising and electricity-conducting spp. Nonetheless, the facts are cool stop trying to shoot me down.

    • Adam Wold
      Adam Wold 4 days ago

@Parium bs there is no way you took genetic bio and didn't have to take some intro classes that touched on shit like this. Maybe you just didn't pay attention cause you were busy deeming it trivia

    • Parium
      Parium 4 days ago

@Jack Daniels I didn't go to college I went to university. My microbiology classes were more focused on disease, genetics and not trivia sir.
