Ever wonder why creators tell us to smash that LIKE BUTTON before we ave watched a single second or frame of any content regarding the topic advertised and especially in ltt case we know we won’t watch a second of content without at least 60 seconds of ads first! And then another total of 2-3 minutes of ads throughout the rest of the video! I love Linus and the gang but DANG those ADS THO!

i have the 8600k, for most games its great. but for some open world games it just cant keep up. the stutter is literally making some games so unplayable that i had to stop playing them. i just recently upgraded my internet to 400Mbits/sec which is just under 50MB/sec, it literally uses 30 to 40 percent of my cpu. so basically if im downloading a game while playing any modern game my 8600k gets a speech impediment.

Intel is better for gaming because it specializes in high single-core clock speed, whereas AMD (Ryzen) focuses on multi-core speed, which is useless for gaming.

Bought a couple of things slightly used and managed to get the pack together for 1000$
And thats about half the price than new here in Sweden. If i would bought everything new then 2000$ would be the price.
Not incl screen headset mouse or keyboard ofcourse. The screen itself is 500$ here in Sweden.
Asus 27" 165hz 1ms 2560-1440p A real top end build would easy go over 4000$ here.

Sorry but these graphs are just way too confusing. Maybe confusing isn't the right word..I mean, I understand what them, but they don't show performance info. I think it'd be much simpler to just show all the best value cpus, with the best performers from the top down. And the price beside them. That way people can scan from the top down, and find the best cpu in their budget range.
I think "relative price" is stupid because you don't know what the performance is like. It's pretty much the same as the $3 cpu at the beginning.
Stop the fancy shit, and just show the raw data in a clear graph!
Also, prices regularly fluctuate, so then all these fancy graphs are meaningless.

Anything above 30% of a PC cost should have been ignored. How should I buy EVERY OTHER COMPONENT on just 60% of the budget. It's insane.
Also you say anything above 50% of the cost will be ignored, and then show $579 i9 9900K for a $1000 midrange allrounder. * actually facepalm *
Also, where do you get your prices from?!? i7 8700K is 2-3 TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE than Ryzen 7 2700X. That is NEVER great value. Someone was right here in the comments, wanna hear a joke? Intel.

Would I be able to overclock it above that or is it impossible to go any higher than what they advertise as max? A video would be appreciated on overclocking this CPU since there aren't any overclocking results to find about this one in particular

Xicotic YT Hey bro, the usual method to figuring out if a graphics card is right for you is by checking benchmarks. You can either google the benchmarks and see a list or watch a benchmarks test on TheXvid if you want to watch how it runs. You can look at the numbers and specs on a graphics card all day long, but personally those don’t make a bit of sense to me. Seeing how it performs is simple and effective. 👍
16 GB of ram is great. If you can, you should get two 8 GB ram sticks instead of one 16 GB ram stick. That way you can dual channel, which ends up being a bit faster.
Now for your 6 core processor, what were you thinking of getting? The Ryzen 5 1600? Or something else?

I know this is a bit useless for a lot of your viewers but for all the people in Australia and NZ, the prices are very different for the cpu's you have listed. For example the Ryzen 5 2600X in the US is $229 but in AU its $360, along with the top CPU you mentioned being the Core i7 9700K being the most sort after CPU, being $419 US compared to $700 AU. This is due to exchange rate I know, but us Aussies can't drop $700 on a CPU when we are trying to budget decent parts...
Could you do like an international recommended parts list?

What is better for streaming i7-3930k gtx 1070 or Ryzen 5 2600 gtx 1060

Ryzen 5 2600. AMD has proven itself as a god send for streaming video at 1080p 60fps. The ryzen 5 will easily beat intel in streaming however you do lose about 10 - 15 fps so it might be a small price to pay

Hi linus, i think some people just don't want to buy a unlocked CPU since they don't have the demand of OC.
So, can you make a video with non-K CPU?

Very informative and well reasoned. I'm still getting a 9900K though. 8 cores, 16 threads and awesome single core performance? That means for my specific workload, it's perfect.

That's based on your budget of course, you could go for an i9 of course, but if you're not on a budget I should take one of the list that he mentions in the video from the more expensive category.

I've read many comments saying that ryzen is better for streaming, I'd suggest getting an 2700X or any other AMD product, you can save a little bit of money and get a good GPU for your system.
