back when I was in college I was at my lowest point int life and more lost and depressed than ever Sir Ken Robinson’s talks were all I watched. It allowed me to realize that we are all special in our own way, and to never allow myself to feel less than. I’m so sad to hear of his passing because he is one of the people I would have love to meet in person.

@Raul Marquez it's a process. Tough one, because i never think about it before. Until falling into depression and "that" close to kill my self. Sir Ken Robinson (in youtube off course), make me realise that our life have meaning and purpose , and they are different one to another. And we already have the element in ourselves in order to fulfill our purpose of life. This like a wake up call for me, and i start to think and search my element, thinking about something that make me alive, excited everytime i did that. I spent few months to find it, and a year and a half to make it sure, that this is what i really want to do or to be for the rest of my life. Then i took u turn, change my career, start over. It's tough because i was already 41 yo that time. But good thing, my wife supported me, and that's all I need.

I happened across Sir Ken's talks on TED. He is such an eloquent speaker. Just like he says in this talk, An hour can seem like 5 minutes when you listen to him speak with such passion and sense. His work on changing the school education system itself shows his passion. Recently, changes in my work area (I'm in a bank and was part of the Retail business, heading the Payment Cards Business and now have moved into Training Delivery and Talent Development) have shown me how working in your element can change how you look at life. I am doing now what I am passionate about and loving every opportunity I get. As always, thank you Sir Ken for inspiring us to seek out our passion and be what we were meant to be!

As someone who struggles a bit with character typologies, think he's bang-on when he says 'learn form them, but don't let them imprison you! (Certainly true with the enneagram which I think the system is flawed, but great character insights)

Many teachers at last, because of Covid 19 and remote teaching, have helped millions of students to find their hidden talents through transforming their classes from instruction to creative differentiated activities. Through this, students have had opportunities to discover what they CAN do and, even better, their families have helped them and seen them flourish. I know it's not happened everywhere, of course, but where it has happened it is striking.

The talk is encouraging and motivating to seize the opportunities we have by being open. It will be a great pleasure to do things that excite us, excel in it, and not to be afraid of restarting any moment in life by seeing life in a non-linear way. As the world changes, we need to live differently from our last generation. But one thing that raises a question that is, Albert einstein, Micheal Jordon, Walt Disney are just a very few examples. I read when we compare our life to people who have achieved after big risks and failure, we tend to look at only the successful people, not the unsuccessful ones. In fact, so many of the risk-takers have been actually unsuccessful. This is a fallacy of people I read from the book thinking clearly.

What a beautiful man - open honest real and so encouraging - what a catalytic being - thank you so much for all you are Ken - I watched this just a few weeks after I found out Ken had died - but he will live on and his legacy will awaken the hearts and minds of everyone he touches - so he will live on in this world in a spiritual state continuing to energise everyone he goes on to touch... what an amazing gift he is still in his element...
