in act 2 vs the 4 champions I had to go back and have 2 lone wolfs because having 4 characters divided my stats too much but I went back to get them after lol
My first time play this game just got the game yesterday
actually I find charisma pretty useful. At least for 2 points with Politic talent
"Old but gold..." =]
I'm the most hypocrite person in the world. Solving a murder while murdering all guards and robbing and raping through the village. I mean sourcehunter.
This is my first time playing this game. My main character I picked marksman with bow. And second character as a tank. From my experience in other RPG I ha e focus primarily on dexterity on main and strength on second. Have put a a couple points on bow and two hand for second. Im enjoying the game. But seems like I'm doing it right so far which is good
Great vid bro!
Thanks for the video, just bought this game on the ps4
Wow.... you choose female characters....on purpose.
I just figured out that you can summon in and out with the piramide objects, there for my most favorite is pyro class. you don't need too heal. just stay at distance, flee when nessercary and take a nap on a bed. notice too my self don't go to other dimensions, you will loose the summon piramide on that spot into your bag. other then that i use those piramide objects a lot. Also with flee, you can flee with just one person, while the rest of the party is waiting, no harm done, healing your self out of combat.also you can send the piramide object too your three other members, so good, when your member is locked out, just send a piramide too him. summon and you are back at the group.
Going from 3 to 4 is a 33% increase..
Jack of all trade, Master on None. But better that than Master of One.
Found magic too complicated so I restarted as a archer
Why is this game hard to find and expensive still? In the Uk it's going for £30 second hand. It held its value.
So what you choose? Please summarize.. Played original sin 2 then this one with tactician after 8 hrs i went to classic.
What does he mean by that?? 😂
2018 and this video is still useful. Thanks.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Explain what things are instead of telling me what to do. Great video.
I beat the game (1st time playing the game) on novice level with numerous redundant abilities in my party, and no master level spells in any magic school, just lots of master level scrolls bought, as well as dozens of paid for master level spells that I couldn't use. My gear was pretty stinking amazing though (PLENTY of gold toward the end of the game), and I had TONS of health potions and resurrect scrolls for the final boss (which I only used one huge health potion).Divinity is HARD puzzle-wise, but pretty forgiving ability-wise, at least on novice level. All this stuff in this video is great, and will probably come in handy on medium difficulty level and above...
1:39 this is not one player games...
Strength, with Battlemage, didn't seem important, since I felt the magic would help in those regards with buff/debuffs or use of both. I however really liked dual wielding wands even before inquisitor class was added. When done well, (albeit somewhat obvious) you can wreak havoc with elemental effects. Mind I'm also the type of player who likes to toy with the enemy too, I like to bat them around for a while before crushing them in one fell swoop.
WHAT IS going on guys
Im a sexy big girl.
no murdering, can't do it on my game play's ) like the idea about using Armour
who plays pc games in 720p
Any chicken heads with duck feet here?
You are fucking obnoxious.
Is this guide applicable to divinity original sin enhanced edition?
I followed this advice until I became overpowered and got bored, decided to try hybrids to up the challenge on tactician mode and found out Strength/Dex is by far the most OP build in the game and Dex/Int works quite well on rangers too. Thing is, you gotta scour the vendors for +stat gear and get into crafting to really pull it off, so much fun though. Every build seems mediocre after seeing what a flurry + daggers drawn backstabber can do.
Haven't seen the video yet, but just the intro and explanation for the guide was worth a like.
That voice tho. i cant even begin to watch this video lol
Great video, wished you had done something on party composition because now that the second installment is out some people might go back to play the first as well. I quit and restarted three hours into my first campaign, had tried a hybrid and was having a very hard time. Decided to go with a customized knight and a wizard... Bottomline: too OP. The Wizard controls the battlefield while Jahan ccs enemies left and right, the two knights set about knocking down and bringing down whoever survives the carnage. It's become so easy I almost wish my first playthrough had been like this but on the hardest difficulty setting.
still missing TK
Why would you play a role playing game min-maxing your characters? You take all the fun away from the game. Seriously. I can see why you would want to do that in a MMORPG where you directly compete against others.. But this is a Single Player game, as long as you are able to go through the game, just play to have fun. For example, there is this talent called Pet Pal which allows you to talk to animals, it is the most fun and interesting talent you can pick, but completely worthless for min max purposes. If you want to roleplay your character as a battlemage, then go ahead and do it. Min maxing is not for these type of non-competitive RPGs.
OMG hi everyone!!
this guide is so insanely good, the MOST important thing i think was at the start where you explain 'what will you have at the end'There are so many guides out there going straight into the core of creating a specific character weither it be a battlemage or w/e without letting us know the most important part, what will we have at the end of the game to begin with+ video in my opinion
I realize this game and video have both been around for a while, but I still wanted to chime in, and thank you for this breakdown, and tell you I like your approach to this character guide, in not recommending only one specific build, but instead tips about what to avoid when creating a character. Good stuff bro.
hi guys, i started with game without knowing anything in Tactician mode (more enemies)i started with a knight and ranger. i want to restart again with new characters, do you know what is the best duo for you ?
Hello, Looking for a player to play with in Honour mod. Anybody interested? please reply
Funny, i did all these things out of intuition.
Well, there are a few points I fundamentally disagree with (with the exception of the amazing bonus of two-hand and the later need for at least a few points in tenebrium, I utterly ignore putting points in weapons), but there are also a couple points in this video that are incredibly important for new players to know. Overall, well worth the watch, though not much new learned for me personally.
Dude it takes 15 points to max out 1 ability. So MAX you can get is 3 maxed and 1 at 4. Not counting any other bonuses and stuff. So limited, that hybrid is garbage, only good for a support character only.
"When you can just murder them for EXP" Oh lord I'm dead 💀💀😂
Does anyone know if the leveling points were changed in the EE?
this was incredibly helpful! thank you!
you can become lvl 23..not 20.....20 is the soft cap... 23 the hard capjust saying
dude quit + over 3 years ago. Just saying
man you saved my playtrough. subbed.
I'm a big rpg buff but this is the first game in recent memory I had to put it on easy mode just to leave the town. Great game
perfect video, great!
kek, Lone Wolf is the first talent I get on Tactician mode, though I only get it for one of the SHs
Is that 20 levels with killing all guards and villagers?
lol. I dont murder people that dont try to murder me. Im a nice person. Ingame
Long time RPGs player 20 years, this is a great RPG, customization is well thought out. Couch co op with my GF.
A Cesare great gf game. forreal
80 hours? sheesh
dude next time you make a video, consider the visuals. its just the character creation screen the whole time. youre not doing a podcast.
Im sure you've realised this after the seven months you posted it, but you do realise that this was over 2 fucking years ago right and that this dude already quit youtube.?
Hey man I like your content but the way you deliver it feels like an infomercial or QVC trying to sell me something I don't need
Prepping for my first play through, awesome video thanks!
