- We tried everything on the UK and US KFC menus to find out the big differences between the two. From the portion sizes to the calories, the difference between the two chains was pretty surprising. The popcorn chicken box in the US was almost four times the size of the UK's largest option.

US vs UK KFC | Food Wars
I am impressed to see the chefs in US makes Just a packet of fries using all ingredients from the periodic table
@Nalhy also ya. We a bit messed up with all the uh. Violence and murder 😅
@Nalhy its really popular here lol
@me What kind of distopic country would protest over fast food lmao
@Apexerl we call it soccer in Australia. I think this appears in other countries as well
Overeating
As a UK citizen, I can say after trying the famous bowl in the US, we desperately need it here. It's everything we already love in the UK just put together. I would also really say that the US would love the supercharger dip
I'm actually eating one right (👇) now
If we get the 'famous bowl' in UK then we would have to say goodbye to our loved ones for 2 days because we would be in the toilet. XD
Sams is better!
@uǝʍO zɐdǝᗡ🐙 Ong😂 they out here hating for no reason
@DubbyDominate bro there’s so many us haters here 😂😂 this guys one
Fun fact if you didnt know:
the pot pies in the US are made with whats known as "restage" chicken
chicken thats left over from closing (it is often 2-3 hours since it has been cooked) is "deboned" aka breasts thighs and legs are picked apart after having the skin or crispy coating off
they are then stored in 1lb bags and kept frozen for upto 3 months before being mixed into a tin with powder pot pie and frozen vegetables to be topped with a pre made top
they cost about $1 to make and are sold for 5x their worth
@Unfinished CGI what
@Anonymous GX No, they're $5 not 5$. There's a difference.
What’s wrong with that? The overhead on a restaurant means reusing leftovers is key. Chicken soup at most restaurants is made from leftover chicken. Deal!
Wait 5$ only??!?!
Ok they're so good though
To be perfectly honest I enjoyed this video even MORE than I originally thought I would.
The two actors were fantastic, would like to see future shows with them in the same room interacting with each other I think they would make a great team.
Didn’t think the kfc video was that deep
there are many videos of them together
"Why are so many Americans fat?"
After watching this: "Yep, makes sense."
The US sizes come with a free side of diabetes and blocked arteries too.
Also comes with something very special... wanna know ..... obesity
LoL
@Martin C karen
Only type 2 diabetes not type 1
And the freedom to choose that
I can't imagine the temptation these guys will be going through.
I love the original KFC flavours. I don't think I'd enjoy the US one very much honestly. I'll have to check it out though.
KFC America is the original flavor… it’s literally from Kentucky
I want to eat fast food in the US 🥺🥲💫💫
"Garlic mayo on chips is just fantastic" my guy speaking facts.
Big respect for the fact that they toured all the food without taking a single bite
@Subhana Shehzad Not even tempted...KFC is gross. Too salty and greasy. The mashed potatoes taste like motor oil... no real butter involved.
*self control upgraded to 420*
Yes
@Subhana Shehzad same
This is the one time where I've been weirded out by the portions being smaller in America compared to my country. We have a 20 piece bucket
my country aus hasz 24 piece
i love how all of the US' regular portion sizes are most of the time higher than the large for the UK
1:28
"You can get yourself a popcorn chicken box, something for you and your buddies I'm sure, not to eat it by yourself"
My guy that's definitely part of my solo order
I never knew we’d be on the verge of warfare because we pointed out KFC had a lot of chemicals in the US but here we are
The US sizes also comes with a free trip to the hospital
@Un rest yes
@Un rest Nope. It's free at the point of delivery.
Minus the hospital bills
I dont think it's free 🤣
I love kfc so much
They so patient I can't resist seeing them 🤣
I love how the usa guy is bragging about having more calories in his food like it’s a good thing
@Joe Mama Seriously you need to check out what crap is actually in your foods. You're not called the fattest nation for nothing.
@Truthbtold Wright US likes quality along side quantity. Just because we have maximum quantity doesn’t mean it’s trash quality food. UK honestly just needs their portions up. UK larges is like a kids meal in the US, which doesn’t make it better quality at all.
@Truthbtold Wright definitely
When I was a kid our USA KFC used to have corn on the cob and with the stick in it as well. I'm really sad that we don't have that anymore.
In New Zealand KFC has tiny drinks compared to other fast food places here. Our drinks are usually about the same size as in the UK but in KFC the regular is the same size as small and large is the same size as regular.
I love how the uk guy is so chill then the Americans guy is so enthusiastic
Ayo it's Kentucky Fried delicious anyone would be excited.
@GD FL3X nandateee
Hell's Kitchen US vs UK
Bro, the famous bowl is absolutely amazing, I don't know how that don't seem appetizing.
Everytime there's exclusives you know joe is gonna become crazy with the ranch
The US only bowl (popcorn chicken, corn, potatoes (mash) & gravy actually sounds delicious. But I’ve never tried
I'd love to see that on the UK menu.
Yeah the famous bowl is a must get
I just love food wars 😋 😂🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤❤❤❤❤❤❤🍟🍟🍟🍔🍔🍔🍔🍕🌭🌭🥪🌮🌮🌯🌯I want it 😩
I love how the US regular is bigger than the UK large
Yet uk KFC is more expensive than US
@Net no one in the U.K. would be able to finish the us large in one sitting that’s why. Our size is actually enough
Always how it is I always tell Europeans if you ever go to America drink wise get a regular
Famous bowl sounds ridiculous and that's also the reason I want it😅
The "large" fries in the U.S. is intended to be a family portion. Not an apples to apples comparison.
Key word is intended
I always find it interesting watching the KFC ones, is how over cooked the US chicken is. Way too over cooked coating
the UK is actually making their food healthy and taste good at the same time
UK fries : potato , salt , oil
US fries: every element on the periodic table including antimatter and element 115.
It’s finger licking chemicals
At this point USA has more chemicals in there fries than a science lab
Mmmm tastes like victory
that is what it makes it taste good
So just cuz there was like 4 or 5 different elements, it becomes the periodic table? LOL
I think that the uk one has soem differences, but doesn’t put the chemicals into the ingredient’s, and the US I’m pretty sure are legally required to put everything on the ingredients lidt
i thought the us portions were big then i looked in kfc app assigned to my country and we can order 50 wings with 6 large fries also we can order 700 grams of popcorn chicken and on top of that we can get a set of 8 wraps(twisters) 8 cheeseburgers 24 wings and 8 large fries
im stunned
These are family meals.
Watching all of their videos. I've just learned UK is more expensive and healthier and US is less expensive and unhealthier
From the US, I had never seen so many fries or nuggets in the container.
To be fair, our soda cups in US are at least half full of ice! 😂
The UK guy is so professional while the US guy is having fun
@EASY bro stuff no one said that
Yes!
@EASY cuz it is the best country
I´m Chinese.I think America is the best country on earth.
I really miss the Jamaican KFC it's so good I day dream about it 😂
Man, I honestly wanna go to the US, and just drive around the country doing american stuff, like eating these ridiculous portions.
We get mash and gravy as sides in the UK too. At least, we do at mine 😍
Yes but this is over a year old
I wish KFC would bring back the Little Bucket Parfaits. The Lemon was my favorite.
The US really putting an entire laboratory into their fries.
I didn't know they're where that many elements in the periodic take
Lol! Exectly
@bunny neither are superior but one definitely has better foods (if you’re counting better as less likely to give yiu diabetes)
@mybackpocket the uk has probably got the best regulations on its fully traceable food,especially on farmed animals!
why do we need the german/french to tell us how to?
I used to love fries when I see fries now I have the urge to vomit UK or US the mess is apocalyptic
Spice lol! Anytime a European says something is spicy I laugh and remember the FLCL scene 😂 “It’s mild! Little Prince curry brand!”
“ you can’t this by yourself “
Me: Try me, I love their popcorn chicken
I was like “😳 what did he saaaay?!” When he said big daddy meat burger
The UK is sadly missing out on a lot of things including dental care and fashion.
Aren't you guys missing out on free health care?
US Food reporter: "So what are your secret herbs and spices"
KFC Chef: *Pulls out the periodic table*
@Anthony S lmao stolen comments make youtube funny.
lol
@Pandinha_ Kün yes
@Vol100000 ..
*Clap... Clap... Clap...*
Maybe I can add Mainland China KFC into this comparison. 😘 Actually, even in Mainland China, the components of KFC food vary slightly in different regions. For example, pepper powder is exclusively available in some southern provinces such as Hunan and Sichuan.
I just can’t imagine kfc chips have so many ingredients
Getting hungry watching this 😋
The famous bowl is amazing 😩
Uk: lets have a snack
US: lets feed our whole family for a year.
You got it all wrong. The amount of food Americans order is consumed in one sitting. Thence the obesity epidemics.
@M.U.F.C I don't think so good. We have a thing about Penzeys flopping around on the field for no reason.
@M.U.F.C *Football
We get Mash and Gravy in Ireland, we have UK stuff with a few US items and its great.
"you're not eating this popcorn chicken by yourself"
Challenge accepted.
KFC used to have corn on the cob, and it was also on the stick.
Everything in United States is so huge and big compared to other countries 😂👍
“And KFC in the US has released its ingredients.”
Names the whole periodic table
@Hello
I don't think so.
@Laust Cawz yes
...including gold, silver, platinum, Einsteinium, plutonium...?
Try not to salivate, I LOVE KFC! Watching this makes me hungry!
Everytime I see this comparison, I wonder why US almost always has the higher calories/content/weight.
We love 💕 Uk food type policy..
Nd we love uk 🥰from india
A lot of the stuff 'exclusive' to the US and UK are right here in Australia, we're the best of both worlds.
Why is the British fella so serious and then the American is just happy he has all this food
less food and more costly than the US
The accent is anoying me
hes serious because he has to pay taxes
The UK guy's voice is very soothing to me.
Because we brits only get excited when its necessary
i hate how they never compare prices in this series, a lot of the time "equivilant products" will have price differances that put them in perspective, they did it for the dominoes one i think, but not in the rest
We do have gravy in the UK though? I get it every time
I now know UK food sucks and US food is amazing but I’m in the uk 😭
0:37 when i saw that my jaw dropped because the large and small are THE EXACT SAME SIZE!
So interesting to see what people around the world have on their menu!
Louise Brennan Nah bro, this is actually interesting
Louise Brennan then why did u watch this...
Louise Brennan 0 gcses
Yes. In my McDonald's in the Philippines, they have spaghetti there with fried chicken lol
Literally the only normal comment in this comment section
Why are the US drinks in literally every episode so big😭😭 who drinks that I can barely drink 400ml during one single meal
I mean if you think about it, if you’re getting it through the drive through it’s going to be at least half ice, definitely more tho. Also most people won’t drink the whole thing, it’s just such a similar price that people buy the largest drink in case they will drink it all.
Mmmmmm I need a trip to KFC!!
UK KFC must've added mash and gravy since this video was made, as we do get both here.
I like how the ingredients says sea salt, salt, potassium chloride and then moments later said salt again
US fries ingredients be like the back of the shampoo bottle
My shampoo have less
In Russia potato is potato
HAHAHAHHA
😂😂😂
Why the UK guy didn't specify ingredients.....
credits to both men for not even taking 1 bite of any of the foods when being introduced
I like the look of the 10 peice bucket in the UK it looks delicious
I don't know if this is in another country but in my country I can get spicy rice with KFC chicken and it's a must try
When u realise 98% of things shown in the video are in Australian KFC’s too
Americans: excuse me sir, there’s fry on my chemical.
@Seven my most liked is 4.5k
@Seven ur 25 might be the u had cah this guy has 3.3k ok
@z youve got more than1.4k now trust me
loooooooooooooool
@Seven he got 3.3k now 😂
FYI, UK KFC now does mash potato. We have always had Gravy, even when this was made so not sure why he said UK doesnt have gravy
This much ingredients damn 🔥🔥
Wait the UK do have mash and gravy!! You could see the pots of gravy on the floor when UK guy dropped his chicken peice
Thanks for making a video on KFC, we thank it
And they still can’t figure out what’s causing obesity
👌🏻😅
Humm...
@Sophia Kim Let’s play q
@Sophia Kim Let’s play you’re being sarcastic?
Duh people don’t get out as much as they used to.
Ah yes, I also put sea salt, salt, and salt in my fries
From this show we really only learn that US is just too much 😂
Love how UK is so chill
I'm pretty sure we have mash and gravy in UK kfc's 🤣
of course, every US small is bigger than a UK large
that is so damn american
I just love how we all went from fried chicken to politics 😂
@TheOrangeHeadedFella ya
Bitmosphel you can look it up on the Department of economic and social affairs website
@Daemeun Marlow please give me the much neededevidejxe that states there are more people per house in the USA than the uk
That’s because the government doesn’t restrict food proportions as much in the US also family households in the US consist of more people
U.S Fast Food Restaurants should be renamed to “Heart Attack Restaurants! (for a small fee of $11.99 for your 1k calorie meal)”
For me I love both ...us or UK ...I see no difference..
These videos never fail to entertain me
I live in the uk and I think that it is wonderful!!! I love how the uk guy is soooo sweet and chill!!!!
Uk 🇬🇧: KFC is a fast food restaurant
Us🇺🇸: KFC is a pharmaceutical company
The us kfc is better portion and price wise.Kentucky wise they taste the same.
Lol
😂
Don’t get it
AHAHAHA
I love watching these type of videos instead of eating
How do you go through a whole video on portion comparisons without comparing prices...
Is French fries in us doing a chemistry class 💀
Honestly this makes me hungry .
who else is American and laughs when he reads the US ingredients every video.
@the gaming Chronicle's with yera i still haven’t died lol
This makes me glad to be from the uk
Thomas James 😅😅😂😂
Ukkk
Thanks Thanks for, making me hungry (I can smell the food XD)
Damn Australian KFC really just gets the best of both almost
2:05 when the chicken piece drops his smile 🤣🤣
Even after the Revolutionary War, KFC still has beef with the UK…
