10th Generation Dairyman
Joined Dec 9, 2015
My name is Eric, I'm a dairy farmer in southern Pennsylvania. We have a 200 cow milking herd along with 150 or so young stock. We farm 250 acres where we grow all our forage and a little grain. I'm making videos of what I do day to day. I hope you enjoy.

Hopefully you have not had any late term abortions that you could link to laying cows over to have their feet trimmed. Our trimmer said that was the reason that he switched to a chute that trimmed cows standing. I don't know how prevalent that problem was but it seems that most chutes are the standing version anymore.
U could hook up 2 cams front and back to the cleaning robots and make them there own asmr cleaning channel Edit: I would watch that
I follow you from Kuwait , an arabic state , but i feel very happy when i see s the great work you keep doing , all of youre day without complaining like what i see in the new generation , may the God Bless you my son ,with the youth like you we all feel proud ,i really admire youre father because god gave him a ma n like you .... i applaude you , keep up the good work
Look's like the robots are doing well,
Thanks for sharing!
Great content Erick those robots do a great job comfortable cows make happy cows ππππ
1 4 3 Eric !!!
Great awesome video Eric
Why do cowsβ hooves need to be trimmed ?
lots of pretty heifers.
There's something so satisfying about correctly diagnosing a problem and implementing the right solution - glad you made that catch. :-)
I did not know that crop triticale was grown to that extent. Beautiful. I had used triticale as a flour in years past.
Eric I recieved my 10th GEN hoodie and t shirt yesterday Very fast Very pleased π Please support Americas Farmers PEACE
Where are you from? I swore I saw your old John Deere on a road trip. The one you were mowing with.
It is quite interesting how comfortable the cows are with the ManureBot passing right behind them. Everybody just goes about their business.
I HATE climbing in the chute
Your facilities are immaculate. Very impressive
Amazing dairy farm operation. Total dedication to the herd and they sure show it.
π
Nice video! Thank you. Iβve been in the hospital with emergency surgery, Iβm feeling better now and feel like watching videos! God bless you and your family.
Amazing what the robots do. Glad you could fix it.
I was just thinking that on average over 150k watch your videos. That is almost three times as many people can fit into Heinz stadium to watch an NFL game? Isnβt that wild?? I am happily one of those watchers. Thank you!
I love watching hoof trimming π
Mom wants new mulch so we put down new mulch
Now that they have proven themselves, are you planning on investing in new robot scrapers? Thanks for sharing, Eric and Dennis.
The hoof trimmer gives a new meaning to cow tipping. With all that work on the farm do have time to take a day off? Thxs for the vids!
My uncle used cow manure every spring. Had the best looking plants and shrubs in town. His fig tree had figs that were as big as a Buick.
This is the highlight of my day when i get home from fixing appliances. Someday i hope to be fortunate enough to become a dairyman. I love this.
Closing in on 400k Subs i see, But Awesome Video and Much Love as Always π Man!!!!
If I tried fixing anything while over a slatted floor, all of the screws, nuts and half of my tools would be in the manure pit.
It always trips me out to see the bales of straw unloaded that way! In the military we always unload every trailer back to front.
I just really love watching your videos. You and your dad has a awesome setup. Love all of the new stuff. Great video Eric. Thank you young man
You haven't talked about your baby ?? Is he milking cows yet ?? π
Great video thanks for posting - you are getting close to 400K subs
Eric you are doing a great job showing everyday work you have to do to produce milk. Great videos and your efforts are being rewarded as you approach 400,000 subscribers. Wow!!!!! π
Canβt beat Dadβs no stump tree removal method.
You keep the farm so beautiful..... π³ππππ³
Eric, the temperature sensor looks like a 10k thermistor. If you measure the resistance at room temperature around 75 degrees the resistance should be around 10k ohms. Web search 10k thermistor chart.
Good job on the sweeper, lots of things to do for sure. That hoof trimming sure does improve the condition of the cows hooves, looks like it gives them more stability on the concrete. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend and a great memorial day.
Looks like the cows are trying to run away ! Like Oh no not me! Lolol. There so funny!when you said leeching I got a visual of a cow sitting on one of the railings! Like a bird! Lolol
Have any of the cows ever kicked one of the robots
Do the cows lay in the same stall every time or different every time?
I live about a hour from your place, been past there quite a few times for work tho.
Nothing like a good silage fork for spreading mulch!
cows aren't pets, but do you have any one that you favor?
mutch going on
look for a fendt or challenger. in germany these are the best tractors
Hi Eric and dad been watching video awesome work you both do lots of work but youβre both enjoying it and as always you and your dad and families be safe πΊπΈπΊπΈ
Thanks for another great video Eric. Love sharing your daily work on the farm.
