only just got back into playing about a year ago. started off with a seccond hand set I got off facebook. took me a year to save up but I got fit into srixon zx5's, had them for 2 months now and they are great. defiantly worth taking my time to get the right set for me.

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for telling golfers to NOT set their feet parallel and perpendicular to the target line.. This is one of the first things you are told to do, set your feet parallel, and it is so wrong!!! Just as you do and so many good golfers, you flair your feet so you can move freely. Oh, and that grip info is pretty spot on too!! 😉

Hmm thinking of your choices, in my case I'd have taken the 1,4,7, wedge, and putter. There is nothing like hitting a 1 iron off of the fairway and surprising everyone around when it flies straight like an arrow 250+ yards. Kills par 5's.

cCn I ask..... Have you found since changing to jumbo grips that you've lost distance? I changed to mid sized +4's last year from standards. I really feel like I struggle to release it properly now and as such have lost speed and distance. Although I am more accurate 🙈

So I am externally rotating my shoulder. That’s where my over the top swing is coming from. This drill is amazing to stop the external and change it to internal. I’m off to the driving range now to hit some bombs 💣 legend Finch!!

Just got fitted for these today. When I hit them they felt better than p790 and titleist irons, they are low spinning but high descent angle makes up for it.

any tips for over swinging, you seem almost like 80% of my swing, my hands seem to stop almost behind my head

i wish i had more time in general, had a couple of weeks off the game because i just couldnt find the time. had the worst session on the range on wednesday, almost felt like quitting entirely....

Some great advice in this video. Really spot on. I've struggled with most of the issues mentioned and these explanations and fixes are very helpful. In addition there is one other thing that was making it hard for me to rotate and that was my posture at address. Being too bent at the waist with my backside stuck out too far and legs a bit too bent was making difficult for me to turn aswell as the things mentioned in this video.

@2:10 Sorry if I'm being stupid but when I try and do a grip like this, when I lay my right hand on my left thumb, it hurts my thumb. Anyone else get this? I find doing a baseball grip with my left and then bringing the right hand to it works ok but I do hook it left a lot - any advice anyone? Thanks

So just one question. How do you develop feel for pure golfshots if you do not practice them with tools that give the proper feedback? I took my mizuno mp-33 fully knowing I could not trust in them. When hit wrong they respond with a jolt. And that why I bought them. You can feel by mm where you hit and learn!
