With regards to the grip, get yourself a thumb grip. I’ve found that it MASSIVELY improves the ergonomic feel of the camera. It also feels a lot more secure when using bigger lenses. Cheaper than buying an add on grip and doesn’t add any bulk.

Hey hey, welcome to the Fuji Club! Nice video, even if I did wince at the manual burning. (For that matter, camera-companies, make your manuals nicer. Include street photography tips, shots by great photographers using the gear, the evolution of the camera design, etc... I'd love a little glossy companion book! That way maybe people wouldn't burn them.) Anyway, wedding and street shooter, eh? Permit me to recommend a trinity of starter lenses... 1: 35mm f/1.4 - This is a great lowlight all rounder and on the X-T3 it now focuses at a decent clip. A beautiful, magical lens with that special something. 2: 56mm f/1.2 - Pricy, but for wedding and street-fashion shoots this one is a must. Drinks in light, sharp and good bokeh. 3: 23mm f/2 or 18mm f/2 - This is for the street shooting. You've got a wide angle option in your current sharp kit lens so this is less vital. I could have recommended the 16mm f/1.4 but it is pricy and I'd prioritise the 56mm. The beauty of these two though are that they are fast focuses and give pleasing rendition. They're not super-sharp but they are sharp enough, and the 18mm especially has a real nice filmic quality with plenty of pop. If you're wanting to shoot street like Winogrand, the 18mm. If you prefer the Stephen Shore / Joel Sternfeld / Mary Ellen Mark street look go for the 23mm. Enjoy the camera!

@Samson Blay Aw, shucks, thanks! I should have known it was a gag as there wasn't any ritual chanting over the burning. The choice you have to make is the one of f/1.4 vs f/2 then I guess. From what I hear the 23mm f/1.4 is kida wonderful, and both 35's are good, the f/2 has that bit more focus speed, an WR, but the 1.4 is just lush despite the older design. One thing I learnt in wedding photography - go sharp and low light for portraits, but for everything else you want speed of focus and usually you'll be shooting at f/2+sonething to get multiple eyes in focus with candid reactions so go the f/2 'fujicron' primes route. :)

This is probably the most helpfull comment I've ever seen! Thank you so much Peter, really nice of you to help out this much. The burning manuel thing, was a little joke, I had looked through it already ahaha. But really thanks so much for the very detailed help. I'm looking to get the 35 mm, as my first lens other than the Kit. I've also thought about getting the 23, since I've heard that weddings on the 23 is amazing.
